I'm attempting to reserve judgment as well. What's so frustrating is that while I can only imagine it would be nearly impossible to have a game where Dante essentially walks down into the circles of Hell and be interesting (for those not enlightened enough to appreciate the experience), who he meets, what he learns, what he sees is what makes The Divine Comedy so appealing. Hell, most of the "pop culture" references in the book would need to be altered for any layman to grasp their significance within each circle but even so...an action game?!

The only way I could see it work would be if Bethesda made it...

Truth be told, it would be hard to do the book justice regardless of how it was made, but yeah, a fucking action game? God I hate games sometimes.

I never said it was ugly. I hate it when games use FMV with in-engine graphics. If you're going to go FMV, go all out, otherwise do everything in-game. It is jarring, because I can tell everytime it happens, and it takes me out of the experience.

So you'd prefer full cg and gameplay but find in-engine scenes and gameplay MORE jarring?

Hey Geoff Keighly, I just want you to know: This show is a goddamn fucking joke. This is all this show can muster? Fuck awful dialogue and piss poor teasers that show almost no gameplay (barring God of War 3, but in all seriousness, 20 seconds really doesn't count in my book). Spike needs to fucking fire EVERYONE working on this "award" show. The cameras suck, the music sucks, the writing sucks, the songs suck. Just do yourself a favor, and NEVER DO THIS SHOW AGAIN. I know this is harsh, but if I wanted to watch a train wreck, I would watch that one show I saw showing nothing but train wrecks.
