Beauty was replaced by sheer power and a little sprinkle of touch. Hingis was a thinker on court and she could outsmart everyone she played against, and if she had a little more power she would have been as dominant as Federer. She would have definitely had a long dominant streatch like Federer.

To me, women's tennis died when Hingis went away. Her suspension ends this month, and if Clijsters's comback turns out to be very successful, I am hoping that Hingis comes back too.

And Clijsters. (And Oudin? Future #1 by the looks of it).
I desperately hope to see Sharapova route Safina. Just shoot her down. That would make the tournament, no matter everything else.

Not really, I only watched the first set. I'm not sure what the hell he did to lose the second set 6-3 to a guy that was playing like crap.

When you're Andy Murray, you do things like take a set off to a player you know you're going to beat.
 
Poor Flipkens plays a good game of tennis, love her footwork and touch, but Clijsters gets everrrrrrrrrrrrrrything.

Really good one, it sucks huge balls that there's a 5th set tiebreak on the US Open.

There is no better atmosphere than the Grandstand at night. I could feel it in my room! I'm so proud of Dent for getting back into the game. I hope he gives Andy Murray a good run for his money.

Bud Collins just called it match of the year. I watched the entire match cause it was the only one left on DTV's feed.
