If Del Potro plays his best and doesn't get tired I think he has a shot.

He's going to knock the cover off the ball, but Federer knows how to deal with players like him (and he's beaten him 6 times).

My prediction is that this match ends up pretty much like the Soderling one did.

Del Pony is gonna be taken behind the shed and be brutally put down tomorrow. Federer will win in straight sets and Potro wont win six games the whole match.

I'm not so sure about that. Straight sets is a possibility though.

EDIT: Just checked. Federer has never beaten Del Potro that badly.

What? Don't you remember how he was destroyed on this years AO by Fed?

I'd take the last RG match as the guidance though, will be a good match. :D

He's improved vastly over the last little while. I won't bring up their match too much from Roland Garros because of the surface, but he's been lights out the entire tourney and I think it will be a great match.

I don't think Fed will let Delpo play his game though, so it's still going to be number 16.

soderling atleast close getting it to 5 sets

Now, if Djokovic had gone mental and threatened to kill Federer, then that's completely justified.

What a fucking shot :lol

Oh. Well you haven't been watching it.

Oudin, Nadal/Monfils, Roddick/Isner, Del Potro against anyone, Clijsters comeback, Serena meltdown, etc.

I think hes right, Monfils vs. Nadal had 1 1/2 amazing sets, Roddick vs. Isner was fun but not exactly epic, Del Potro plays amazing tennis but is as exciting as a dead squirrel and I seriously can't think of any other mens match that I would watch again. Djoko - Feder had some fun rallies but thats about it.

Womens tournament was better but just because of Oudins run (the matches though weren't that good, Maria f.i. made about 147 double faults) Clijsters victory and the stunning, very charismatic Wozniacki who really is fun to watch. Even after her loss she had a (honest) smile all over her face.

As a matter of fact, the sheer number of ranked players getting beaten in this tournament has made it exciting

Come on, Sharapova served like she started playing tennis just before the Open, Murray played like he was on drugs, Safina also played like shit and so on. The only match where a heavily favorite was beaten because his opponent actually played excellent tennis and not because the favorite choked was the Isner match and maybe the Dementieva one.

But heres hope that atleast the final will be a good match, Del Potro really stepped his game up big time. But as always I wouldn't complain a bit if Feederer takes this in straight sets.

I just watched the video twice. a pretty big problem? seriously?
Her actions are inexcusable, but the reaction has been a little melodramatic to say the least.

What the fuck?

Serena throws her toys out of the cot and threatens a line judge with physical harm and you think calling her a bitch is melodramatic?

:lol

Give me a fucking break junior.

I take this back, Del Potro will probably win eight to ten games this match, but Federer will still in straight sets. Potro has the ability to pull off the upset, however unless Federer completely lays an egg in the first set (highly unlikely) or becomes injured (even more unlikely), I don't think Potro has the mental toughness to come from behind to win a match against someone who rarely beats himself.

10 winners from Wozniacki :lol

She's like the female version of Murray.

Congrats to Fed as well. Just hope the final is at least competitive, but I think it's just gonna be straight sets :(

I just want the AO sequel. DP has made improvements though so it technically shouldn't be as easy as last time. But you never know.

Before the men's final, I'm gonna call this as my favourite performance / moment of the Open:
