Nothing is more sacred to man then the campfire. Meat, Beer, More meat, Fire, more beer, bigger fire, and smores.


This trip I decided to couple mans greatest "get away"(Camping) with mans greatest "liersure activity", and, I have to say, it was far more wonderous then I could have ever imagined;

For anyone who hasnt done this, I suggest it strongly. Great fun. Between the meat, fire, smores, Smash, Worms, and periodic rounds of Wario-Ware, it just doesnt get any better. For the record, there was five of us including my wifey.

I brought my GBA when I went camping to play at night when people were sleeping. Camping is fun to just..camp! But at least you had smores and fun.

Not really. I just didnt expect people to be such jerks, thats all.

Perhaps a bit niave on my part I would guess. Oh well. Back to the sales charts, fanboy arguments, and "my 360 is broken" threads.

Lemme brighten the thread up a bit with a story.

When I was a teenager some friends and I set up a tent outside of my house because our parents all sucked and we couldn't stay the night at each other's houses. We got a small TV, PSX, extension cord and hooked it all up.

So it was around midnight and I was playing Resident Evil 2, everyone was watching me play. And suddenly I feel like I'm being watched so I look behind me at the screen and see this bullyish kid named David staring straight at me.

So I say to my friend "Hey Robert, what do you think of David?"

"I think he's pretty gay. He can be pretty cool sometimes but yeah he's pretty gay."

And then my other friend chimes in "Yeah, he's pretty gay."

Suddenly the tent unzips and he jumps in and starts punching Robert on the sides and stomach and then he moves on to my other friend, Duke, and then he leaves. In the morning we found piss all over the side of the tent.

Yeah man, it was a great moment. It wasn't like he was REALLY beating him up. He was pulling his punches but still hitting him enough for it to hurt a bit. That's how we all were.

Actually, I painted it for my wife, as she wanted a Pink Gamecube.

Man, these comments are getting more, and more pre-pubecent by the reply.

BTW, It was powered by an electricl hookup, supplied by the camp-ground to each site. A very cool idea.
 
Dude, you're a bit too thin-skinned to be posting pics/stuff about yourself on the internet. What else are we supposed to do but try to poke fun? :lol
 
This might come as a shock, but you don't have to go all the way out into the wilderness to play a few games with friends. Turns out, those game machines of yours work... wait for it... inside.

Didn't they do one in Japan? If so you could probably get one and mod it relatively cheap.

I like pink. Got a pink ps2, pink gba, pink gba sp... didn't get pink ds lite yet, but I will.

I like something different than the standard white/black/grey of consoles.
