The Order 1886 CE is $40 on Amazon

The behind the scenes footage is nothing more then a 4 minute video that I have no clue why it wasn't released to promote the game, all it does is talk about Tesla, it's like their weapons trailer. The soundtrack is the full thing with bonus tracks and it's really good. The statue is also pretty high quality.

Thanks

Damn, paid full price for my CE, but at least I actually enjoyed the game lol.
Anyway, the CE figure actually makes a great bookend, is nicely detailed and has some good weight to it. I'd say it's definitely worth $40

Eh I like a good steelbook but the rest of the extras hurt the value for me rather than help. I'll wait for the standard edition to drop a bit more.

Forgot to ask...for those who got the soundtrack... can you download it on to your computer or is it something your forced to listen to on your PS4 ONLY?

Premium Edition is $75 through the Lightning Deal for a bit, normally $150.

Thought about grabbing it, but with Bloodborne out now, just going to hold off on any new game purchases for awhile.

Edit: Bah, fuck it, grabbed the $40 CE. I like the statue better in that one.

I'm sure it's a great game that's worth experiencing, buuut I just got my bloodborne CE today. So I'll pass for now lol.

Went ahead and picked up the CE for $39.99...thanks for the heads up OP

This was going to be a "pick it up on sale" game for me so I did

Screw it, went ahead and placed the order LOL 31 dollars total with cashback bonus used PLUS my 10 dollar coupon code from amazon..deal was too good to pass up plus its a collectors edition..I did the free shipping so it will arrive sometime next week

Nice picked it up. At 40, the CE is worth it I think.

Have Bloodborne coming, but I just chose free shipping for this lightning deal.

Sucks I paid full price for the regular edition already. This is a great deal for those on the fence. The game was a great experience.

Bit the bullet. Time was running out! LOL

40 for a CE Gold box LD is too damn good to pass up.
Especially when the standard edition is the same price.

The way I figure it, at most the game drops to $10~. You are basically paying $30 for the other stuff (steel book, statue, dlc, soundtrack), and that is the worst case.

God I haven't seen this much unfair hate for a game since Resident Evil 6, tho at least with this I can understand people being upset with the limited gameplay and short length.

The $75 Premium is definitely tempting, if I hadn't had RedBox'd the game I probably would have done it too.

What criticisms of the game are unfair? The gameplay isn't all that great, the story and characters are boring, it's just a graphical showcase (down to even picking up objects for no reason other than looking at the graphics), there's little to no combat variety and the only boss in the game is used twice, the excuse that "the sequel is going to be amazing" is pathetic?

Yeh so unfair.

2/10. Do not buy.

I signed up for a free trial of gamefly just to try The Order and I thought it was really boring. I played like 3 hours of it and then mailed it back. next gen graphics with old old gen shooting

I'll admit "unfair" might have been a bit strong of a word. But I do believe that the game is much better than people are making it out to be, it is definitely worth playing.

Personally I can see all the flaws clear as day when thinking back on it but when ai have the controller in my hands the game's well crafted world pulls me in like few games do. I think the gunplay is also very underrated. I completely understand why some people would be put off by this game but I did enjoy my time with it.

I must say, this was a great buy for $40, the statue is much higher quality than my more expansive Tales of Xilla 1 & 2 and South Park ones. The game itself isn't that bad, sure I'd be pissed if I paid $60 for the game alone since it has 0 replay value since you plat it on the first play through without trying, but I enjoyed it.

I predict it will be 20 or 15 within a couple of months. It failed miserably and sony will try to squeeze some last bit of profit before it hits the bargain bin permanently.

Bought it and beat it this weekend. Aside from the the short but constant non skippable scenes I thought it was a very solid game. I thought the plot was great and it was really pulling me in and then the game ends. If I hadn't heard how short it was I'd have been much more disappointed. That and the lack of unlockables/new game material is pretty disappointing, one of the best things about UC2 and TLOU imo.

Overall I really hope they do a sequel. The plot, graphics and gameplay were all well done so I hope we see a much improved sequel in terms of length and variety next time.

Got it off Redbox. Took me 5.5 hours to beat on hardn, not even particularly trying to play fast. $3 one day rental.

At THAT price, worth the spectacle.
