The Order 1886 or Bloodborne?

My backlog and lack of time are limiting me to just one of these games. I may pick up the other later in the year when it is under $20. I'm leaning towards Bloodborne for no real reason other then the hype for it seems to be hitting me just a bit harder..

Anyone else getting just one of these two games? If so, which are you choosing and why?

I'm getting both, but if I had to pick one it would be The Order. I still haven't finished Dark Souls 1 or 2 so i could always go back and play those for my fix if I absolutely had to. But I just need that new Bloodborne goodness!

The Order is gonna be a refreshing change of pace from all the open world stuff I've been playing lately (DAI, Mordor, Far Cry, etc). Last story driven cinematic game I played was Beyond (which I loved) so I'm exciting to just sit down and play through a kickass movie with some great visuals and atmosphere (and hopefully some great shooting too)

Bloodborne does stand a better chance of being a good game. I don't really have any stock in The Order. I'll play it, but my hopes aren't high, and I won't be surprised if it turns out to be crap.

I'm getting both, though if I had to choose I'd go with Bloodborne due to the setting appealing to me a bit more. I think both will be very good games.

Both if u can. But If I was forced to choose only one out of the two I'd go with Bloodborne just because it'll have more content for me to do.

getting both, but if i had to choose only one then it'd be bloodborne partly b/c of its longevity. if time constraints are a concern for you, then i'd go with the order.

Bloodborne is a day 1 purchase for me.

The Order looks interesting but i'm gonna wait a bit to see what the general impressions are.

I'm only getting Bloodborne. The Order doesn't interest me.Maybe i'll get it many years down the line when it's extremely cheap.Maybe.

The Order is a cinematic shooter that should be a fun ride through once but potentially not much more than that. Bloodborne is designed for replayability and is a much safer and known quantity due to the pedigree of the developer. Go with BB.

I was a bit skeptical of The Order after finding out about all the QTE but the game is looking better and better and Ready at Dawn are a very competent studio.

As much as I would like to say Bloodborne (as i'm hoping it will be GOTY) I think if you have a huge backlog you wanna try and clear then The Order might be a better fit as I see it being a lot shorter and more shallow so you will be able to get through it much quicker and then move onto Bloodborne.

Oh yea...i'm getting both. Real starved for some good games atm.

The Order 1886. If time is indeed a limiting factor, that game is better suited to your needs. You'll even be able to get most of your money back by trading it in when you're done.

Bloodborne. The gameplay appeals to me more, and it changes up the one area worth refreshing - the "shield solves everything" crutch that was getting tiresome from the Souls series.

The Order seems like a QTE-based cutscene fest with pretty graphics that will be over quickly. A fun novelty that's not as replayable as BB.

Bloodborne by far. If Souls games are any indication, you're going to get 100+ hours out of it.

Order will probably last 15 or so.

I'll most probably end up getting both, but for now I only have The Order 1886 ordered. Purely because I haven't really played any solid next gen, narrative driven, cinematic third person shooters on the new systems yet, as there basically aren't any besides The Last of Us Remaster, so I'm itching for one. That and The Witcher 3 takes priority in March for me.

Having said that, I'm pretty confident Bloodborne will be a far better received game. But I've learned that my tastes differ greatly from those of many journalists, so that factor carries little weight in my purchase making decisions.

EDIT: Forgot The Witcher 3 was delayed to May, so both it is!

I'll be getting both tbh.

Slightly OT, but it is extremely difficult staying out of that thread with the first 18 minutes of Bloodborne D:

Bloodborne for me. My interest in The Order dropped to zero once I discovered it was an on-rails cover shooter with some quicktime events.
