So, my wife just got a pixie cut. She has never had hair this short, but she's liking it so far. I'm quite partial to short hair, so I think it looks fantastic, though I don't think short hair works on all women. Not even close.

She also said that men do not like short hair. At all. I am the only man. I don't believe that.

Anyway, here's some popular people that had a pixie cut or currently have a pixie cut:

Natalie Portman:

Her cut came about from a movie (like other actors on this list), but she looks fucking great with short hair.

Michelle Williams

I don't think she got the cut for a movie, but Heath Ledger was a big, big fan of the cut on her, because he was a man of great taste.

Anne Hathaway

Like Portman, she went short for a film, but I think the short hair works for her quite well.

Emma Watson

Was this for a movie? I'm not a Watson fan so I really have no idea. I go back and forth on her cut.

Audrey Hepburn

Not much to say here. Everyone knows this cut.

My girlfriend has something similar, where her right side of her head is shaved but the left is grown out to medium length, top and back are normal. Looks really cute, but I definitely agree it doesn't work for everyone.

Never works for me. I always think chicks look to much like men with this hair cut for my tastes. Just like high heals and small breasts don't work for me either. This is just like clothing models. Anything looks good on them, but it's not necessarily optimal. I'm not a particular fan of the pixie, but some people can obviously pull it off quite well. The real test would be side by sides with various lengths and cuts.
