Well, those REAL cookies look REALLY unappetizing. :\

If there's one thing that I trust a child's opinions over an adult's regarding, it's cookies.

well, 1st of all, you are WRONG

2nd of all, that small picture does not capture the true glory of the almond windmill cookie, it's fucking perfect

that's better but really, you have to taste it to believe it. dip them shits in some milk and your penis will explode.

I have shut down HFCS in my diet so cookies are out.

I think you need to eliminate and replace the whole idea of things like cookies being food if you're wanting to make a serious and significant change.

You want to eliminate:
1. Fructose, whether it is from HFCS, cane sugar, beet sugar, lab fructose, honey, or any fruit that isn't whole.

2. Wheat. Phytic acid and lectins inhibit mineral absorption and intoxicate the liver.

3. Reduce omega 6 (vegetable oil) and increase omega 3 (wild fish & wild meat).

I think maintaining the idea of cookies as a staple of food is against your interests.

You need completely change what you see as every day food. Some ideas:

My cookies need to be soft and chewy. Hard cookies are for commies and puppy fuckers.

Albertson's chocolate chip cookies are top notch.

Yah too bad they still use Partially Hydrogenated oil and there's a full 1 Gram of Trans Fat per cookie. When I read the Nutrition Facts, I almost threw up, and that's when I stopped buying them. Granted, cookies are a treat, but there really is no excuse in this day and age to use partially hydrogenated anything as there are better alternatives, and most companies are switching over to something else. Don't want to sidetrack this wonderful discussion about cookies, but Albertson's cookies are on my shit-list, along with most Kellogg's products.

Seems like that would kind of ruin the "chewy" part, no? I've gone the other way and put them in the microwave for 5-10 seconds, softens 'em up and melts the chips a tiny bit for that "just baked" taste. Om nom nom.
They don't get hard in the fridge, they are still chewy. I put them in the fridge because when I eat them, they feel cool and refreshing. Although heating them up isn't bad easy. You could do anything to these cookies and they would still taste great.

Fudge stripes aren't hard. You can eat them just fine with your old man gums.

Chips Ahoy Chewy cookies are too sweet. I can only eat about half a row at a time.

Fudge Stripes? Oh my god. I don't even eat cookies, but I'll destroy a package of those any day of the week.
Exactly. I don't really eat cookies or junk food at all anymore, but I had to pick up a pack of these when I saw them on sale in the supermarket yesterday. I only have four cookies left. I should've bought two packs. :(

Oh yeah, and am I the first to mention No-Bake's? Really?

Shame on all of you.

I only know of these as home made. Assloads of chocolate and peanut-butter and getting them cookie sized on wax paper is a problem. But these at the holidays are guaranteed gaining 10 pounds come January.

Holy crap, I didn't know these existed. I haven't had Samoas in like 3 years, but they are my favorite cookie. Must get these.

My roomate got these last week; I had no clue what they were. Needless to say he hid them this week :lol

My in-laws bought us gourmet chocolate covered Pringles for Christmas last year. One can each type of chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and milk chocolate. It definitely solves your chip and cookie issue, but now you have a chocolate covered Pringle issue.

So what the hell is a cookie in the UK then? I googled for a couple minutes and all I could find was that in Scotland it refers to a bun.

Well this is a cookie,

But they all look like that, and they're a subset of biscuit.
