jaggies may exist -because- of shrink because aa is applied before superscaling. I am thinking scaling on the lcd will be vastly supperior because of the nature of non-algorithmic conversion.

yeah but the texture bitmaps look aliased by a nearest pixel algorithm. I will wait to see the game first hand, its not impossible for a computer rendering to experience aliasing no matter what you do. I would like to see it on a bravia screen.

Are you under the impression that I give a **** what the screens look like? You think I'm doing this for promotion purposes? I don't have a mission other than collecting pics and putting them in one thread.

Just like the Wii Screenshot thread, I don't have a mission, I don't have a bias, and I certainly don't give a shit whether or not these screens look bad. I just post 'em. Everyone else does the rest. If I have a comment its because something strikes me about the pic I'm about to post.

The purpose of this thread is to show people what is out there, what to expect, and what's coming in the future. Perhaps another purpose is to show how a game progresses over time and to put pressure on developers that aren't performing (Ridge Racer 7?). I will post everything that I can get my grubby little cursor to copy, regardless of how it looks. If you find a pic particularly troubling, post it and make a comment about it, rather than the value of the thread in which it appears. If you don't like the thread, don't waste your precious bandwidth by coming in here.
