That was awesome. Smith and Stoudamire had genuinely nice dunks. Anderson isn't gonna live this down too soon. Embarassing. :lol Charles and Kenny really let him have it. PEACE.
 
I wish they did what one of the TNT guys said...and showed reaction shots from the players on the bench during Andersen's "dunks" Much like the classic idea of a constant Dikembe Mutombo cam, that would have been good.

Fucking Amare shouldn't have made it to the finals. It was all Nash helping him out. Smith vs Smith would've been something to watch, let me tell you. Anyway, Josh was the clear-cut winner, and he is pretty nice. Him being left-handed makes the dunks look different, too. I didn't see anything crazy, but he definitely showed me some skills tonight. Props.

Edit: WTF kind of idiots voted Amare to win it?? Stupid.
 
J.R.Smith got robbed there. I didn't even know that that behind the back-wrap-around dunk was even possible. I've done it in NBA Live 2005. But seriously I jumped when he tried that. I can't believe that Amare's first dunk got the same score.

Did anyone actually see Smith's second dunk in the finals as it happened? I was watching Dr. J. Freakin stupid camera jerks.

It's funny though, even in the dunk contest Amare is nothing without Nash there to make it happen.

And what is Magic talking about Q bringing back the 3 point contest? That brickfest nearly put it in the grave.
 
JR Smith certainly got robbed out of making the second round. How was the behind-the-back wrap around not a 50? I call BS on that one. Oh well, Josh Smith would've won anyway, but I really wanted to see what else JR had left.

Totally agreed. That behind-the-back jam was insane. It was the same jam from that Kobe commercial, except it was real! :lol He definitely would've done some nice things.
 
Have any of you actually seen any video of anyone doing that behind-the-back-wrap-around that J.R.Smith threw down? Like I said before I thought that was for video games only.

I thought the sickest dunk was the JR Smith behind the back. The degree of difficulty was almost as much as the Cater bounce between the legs. The guy is falling away from the basket, wraps it and dunks with hand further away. Definately robbed and no one talked about it,

When are they gonna air the interview that that old black guy did with Kevin Garnett. Y'know, the one where he told Kevin to give him a straight answer and then asked him "How beat up are you?"

And Kevin responded something to the tune of "We're losing man, we're losing!"...and Kevin proceeds to well up with tears.

Can any of you guys tell me if they aired that interview already? If not, what time will it air tomorrow? I really want to see it in it's entirety.

Every young buck in the league who's there for the money and even older players like McGrady, Spree and Melo should be forced to watch that interview over and over again till they quit.

Newsflash: Everyone's there for the money to a degree. It's a job afterall. Some more than others since they haven't made a lot yet.

Maybe KG would have better guys around him if he wan't making like half the team's payroll. Not that he isn't worth every penny but when your team's been barred from having first rounders for a few years, the only way you can add talent is via trades and free agent signings. Not many impact players will take the mid-level (and why should they if they can get more elsewhere?) and you're stuck with KG and garbage. He can cry all he wants but he's part of the problem with his grandfathered contract (he is the highest paid in the league FYI)...

Can't argue your points, all are there for the money but to some money is icing on the cake. Living in Orlando last year and dealing with the same situation with MeMac I have appreciation for the fact the Garnett seems to give a damn and not take nights off. Can't say the same for MeMac and Carter and neither can they. I hope my boy Howard, who has a man crush on Garnett, watches this and becomes that much more inspired.

Yah, they cut but he was still crying later and just put his head down. He needs to go to LA and play with Kobe. If they lose in the playoffs, they can cry together :lol
