sorry to go off topic a bit, but the answer to this is that the rights are split in case it hasn't already been answered. THQ actually owns the rights to the code and games, but of course WWE owns the rights to all likenesses and names. What makes matters even more complicated though are that the World Wildlife Fund actually owns the rights to the WWF acronym. This prevents WWE from using the old WWF logo in any product without paying the World Wildlife Fund licensing fees. In videos they get around this by blurring the old logos. In a video game however they would have to redo a great deal of the art assets. In short, don't expect to see these games on VC, ever.
