Super Castlevania IV

One more purchase coming. Must choose which Scrolling Shooter is better.
 
Holy shit work + holidays = me forgetting about this topic. Am I *really* 100+ posts behind? Maybe I did update once since post 800, but forgot to change the updated post # in the spreadsheet.

Shit... now I'm unsure :( Don't want to count anything twice.

I'll try and sort it out and get an update up shortly.
 
Updated! And it's an epic update, at that. Notes:

-WE HAVE A NEW LEADER! Gunstar has taken the top spot. Will it's reign hold?
- Super Mario Bros. and (to a lesser extent) Super Castlevania IV are the holiday winners thus far.
-R-Type, Toe Jam, and SFII are the holiday losers, although all three are outperforming lesser titles. Will one of them prove to have a longer tail than the other two?
- Sonic and Bomberman both entered the 100+ club

Haha, whoops. R-Type is a legit error. Toe jam is a typo though, I swear (the keys are right by each other!)

True, but I was just thinking of all the versions I've bought. I got one with my NES when I was a kid. It was a Christmas present so I don't know how much my parents paid for it. It was a pack-in though, so I tend to think of it as free with the purchase of the system. The second version was SMB Deluxe for GameBoy Color. $25. Third was the VC version. $5. So you know, $30 out of my pocket for 20 years of SMB goodness is the bargain of the century as far as I'm concerned.

I thought I owned it but remembered it grew some legs and ran off years ago. Stage III has the best video game music ever!
