It's interesting and nice to see that the top 5 games (here at GAF) are from five different platforms. That must, in some way, that Nintendo is succeeding with their mix of obscure and more popular games :)

US:
+ 1 Toe Jam and Earl (It pretty much sucks so far.)
+ 1 Donkey Kong NES (Good, but I thought I remember it having more than four levels.)
+ 1 Pinball NES (I played it in AC, but for some reason was thinking there was more Jumpman levels.)

If I remember correctly, the NES version has three levels that repeat over and over again, while the arcade version has four levels. The NES version omitted the pie factory stage for reasons not entirely clear to me.

Hiya,

Yeah, to all those who are participating in this thread (and I thank you just because I find it interesting): don't worry, your posts are being counted, so keep contributing! I'm the guy who gives monthly results... I usually try to toss out some bones here and there too to keep interest levels up, but have had some major computer issues that have only now finally been resolved. (By the way, if ANYONE has the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector working with Windows Vista, please PM me on how you did it!)

I'm at the moment probably several posts behind with my spreadsheet, but will of course have caught up figures by the end of the month now that my new computer is up running and rockin' like dokken. In the meantime, I saw someone else posting some LTD's, which I think is awesome and I hope they continue to do so! It seems to be a trend that participation is declining, probably due to posters thinking it's not being updated.

Please, anyone who reads this (since I bumped it probably), post away with any purchases that you have not mentioned yet in this thread!

Huh. Might as well start adding my purchases to the list.

US:
Gunstar Heroes
Super Mario Bros
Legend of Zelda
LTTP
Kid Icarus
Super Castlevania IV
Super Mario 64
Super Mario World

US:
+1 Soldier Blade

I've now played all the VC flying shooters and IMO Soldier Blade is better than all of the others. R-Type III is the best side scrolling flying shooter though. Now I just want more platformers. Where's my SMB3, MegaMan 2, and DuckTales? More Bonk would be cool too.

I got nothing this week ._.
I already have Zelda ALTTP for the GBA, and CV1 sucks in my opinion.
I' d like to see some big hits like Paper Mario in the near future.

I don't think I posted in here yet

EU:

super mario bros
mario 64
kirby (aaagh)
super ghouls and ghosts
bomberman (lame)
adventure island
bonks adventure (wtf)
galaga
gunstar heroes
r-type

Haven't posted in a while so here's what I've bought since then

New Adventure Island
Contra 3
DKC
ALTTP
SMW
Alien Crush
Bomberman 93
Super Star Soldier
Kirby's Adventure
Kid Icarus
Streets of Rage
Mario Kart 64
Super Castlevania 4 (Not sure if I posted this before or not)
Gradius
Military Madness

I think that's it!

Okay guys, just to let you know, that including today, there's only 5 days left when it comes to the March results. If you've bought a VC game, please participate and contribute so here.

If you haven't been buying VC games, that's of course cool, but I'm looking at the current results and the downtrend makes me suspect that this thread's participation rate has declined.

Maybe that is partially my cause, as I had some computer troubles and therefore neglected to give current information lately to keep up interest. However, those issues have been solved and my results have been tallied to be up to date.

Anyway, I'll of course give out my info at the end of the month!

Hi, European dude here,

We've bought :

R-Type (TG16)
Chew Man Fu (TG16)

Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
Contra III/ Super Probotector (SNES)

Still no luck getting my wifi adapter working with windows vista, but I was able to leech a connectiion and therefore picked up the following with my current Wii Points:

+1 Excitebike
+1 Tecmo Bowl

Space Harrier 2
Super Star Solider
