So after going through that Scribblenauts avatar thread on that other forum I found this post about GAF:

I'm not sure if my suggestion a few pages back was taken seriously or not, but I would seriously PAY for a set of Scribbletar trading cards using all the best characters.
Does anyone think less of me for actually considering designing some sort of online trading card set, with some sort of bio part on the "back" for the artists?

They could've made a pretty sweet TCG with Spore planets and creations... well, based on that 2005 video.
A mix of Magic: The Gathering and some board game elements like Twilight Imperium....
Alas that will never happen, unless i make that hybrid game myself.
Scribblecards could be interesting just for the sole fact of collecting them, but the avatars are enough themselves, in my opinion.

Just watched some of the Photoshop videos, I was surprised by how long it can take to make these little guys (most likely because I had no frame of reference). Regardless, totally cool, and I appreciate all the hard work of the artists and those helping maintain the thread even more, you guys are my current GAF heroes.
I have no clue what is going on in here anymore, but I have to say that watching the thread title get increasingly terse and stressed, culminating in the ban warning now... made me chuckle for some reason.

On topic: Man, the avatars are friggen awesome. Good stuff. I'm almost kind of sad that I always stick with my happy bear cub. And no, that is not a thinly veiled request. I always use the cub, everywhere I go on the net.
