forest's wife "He made me cum" :lol :lol :lol

...twice

My friend is going to buy the Last King of Scotland, thanks to Whitaker's performance on The Shield. It seems interesting. I can only remember Whitaker in Fast Times 25 or so years ago and that is all I've seen from him.

He just finished up a stint on ER recently, too.

Superb episode. I knew Kavanaugh was going to burn for that evidence and was glad to see it happen.

What I like is a lot of lesser shows would let that drag out for weeks. Glad to see it wrap up quickly.

Hey guys was there a new ep of the Shield on?

This just got released.

The.Shield.S06E03.PDTV.XviD-JMT

There would'nt be 2 episodes in 1 week?

Yep just read that a few seconds ago from another site.

On French television, "season 6" premiered on Canal + on April 5, 2007, with a release of two episodes a week the next episodes will be released on french TV weeks before their release on FX. The season finale will be released on Canal + on May 10, 2007 instead of June 5, 2007 on FX.

WOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!

.

So they air on Thursdays.

Oh god Vic is angry in Episode 3
"If I don't see you with the money, she dies but not until she feels my soft touch. Next word out of your mouth better be when or I will rape and kill that bitch while you're listening."

Also love some development on Ronnie. lol @ when he tackles the dude and Dutch's reaction.

Oh god the Vic-Guardo scene was ****ING epic.

Shock and Awe Episode.

Vic went nuts! Guardo got the living shit kicked outta him and still had the nerve to say im glad your friend died. Vic Chains him everywhere! Then the eventual bullet in the head! Outstanding!

I love this show!

you assholes. you know how tempting it is to not highlight those spoilers?
the only website i know of for these things didnt have episode 3 yet :(

The featurette on the S5 finale was amazing, if just to see that Walton Goggins is completely whacked out of his gourd.

How so? I heard his wife committed suicide by jumping off a building a few years ago.

If the schedule keeps up like this, I'm wondering if we should start another thread, otherwise the spoilerage is just going to get worse, as the eps are going to be popping up twice as fast as they're being broadcast.

But yes, absolutely epic episode. One thing I do like with how the season's going so far:
it seems like each episode takes place over the course of one day. It'd be neat if that continued for the remainder of the season.

So much good stuff, but I don't even want to discuss it with spoiler bars, for fear of even accidentally having them highlighted by someone who hasn't seen them yet.

Hah, was wondering about that Ep 3 torrent. I threw it in my queue and just assumed it was going to be a goatse trap or something. Two episodes a week? God bless you Intersphere. Now I can watch them in decent quality on my laptop versus the bootleg-quality shit Time Warner passes off for the FX channel.

This will cost FX ratings.

Stupid idiots. Their fault for delaying The Shield for Dirt.

I don't have a Nielsen box, nor do I suspect most of the people downloading the torrents. The show will be fine. Vic won't let it do bad. :D

The show's ratings this season are already very low (2.2 mill ish compared to usual 3-4) because of the terrible marketing job FX did to let people know the show was back. DVD Season 5 sales are excellent though.

Terrible marketing? I don't watch a whole lot of FX, but I remember seeing a ton of commercials for it in the weeks leading up to it.

If you asked me three weeks ago, which was better, I would have said:

The Wire > The Shield.

If you were to ask me today?

The Shield > The Wire.

Sorry. It happened.

That sucks.

Pushing The Shield back a couple of months for Dirt was one of the dumbest decisions they have done. I can only think of Morgan Spurlock's show that was the only worse idea that FX came up with.

Most people, the ones I know, thought the new season would start January or February. Starting it in April was a supremely bad idea.

I consider one of the best TV shows ever made.

Tense, interesting and real.

I've enjoyed watching the Strike Teams adventures.

Mackey is an interesting character. An actual person and not a stereotype.

I have NEVER understood how anyone could "root" for Vic Mackey. His downfall is gonna be epic and I can't wait to see it.

VIc is an evil bastard. Him and shane need to die. If they're not shot in their faces by the end of the 7th season I'll be pissed.

That would be the shittiest end ever, and you're completely missing the point of the show.

There are things worse than death. Just killing of Vic and/or Shane would basically be blowing up all the tension they've built through 5 plus seasons.

The show has been building up to the strike team crashing, spectacularly, by the series end, probably at the hands of claudette and dutch.

I'm still not over what happened to Tavon. Anything short of death for those three would be a total let down.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to sympathize with Vic, although I'm sure that's the intention. Everything that has gone wrong so far has been due to him looking after number one, and the guise of doing it for the team or the greater good is all but gone. Ronnie seems to be coming into his own this season though, and that's cool.

I found this quote amusing.

http://www.mercurynews.com/charliemccollum/ci_5582635

"When we developed the character of Jon Kavanaugh last year to go up against Vic, we really thought we were creating someone who would tear the audience's allegiance in half," Ryan says. "Half of the audience would sort of root for Vic, and half would root for Kavanaugh to take down this dirty cop.

"What we found was that almost 100 percent of the audience was rooting for Vic and fervently rooting against Kavanaugh. That surprised me."

At this point, Ryan adds, he believes that no matter how corrupt, how vicious and how amoral Mackey becomes, there's nothing "Vic could do that would turn off the vast majority of the audience."

They tried tonight:lol

But it would have to be Vic screwing over someone else the audience actually care for before you see them rooting for his downfall.

the previews for next week look fantastic.

This 'replacement' for Vic situation should get very interesting.

Just seeing Vic's growing violence and obsession with vengeance, combined with Shane's mind-breaking guilt... honestly... each episode this season is just cranking things up another notch to the point where when this actually explodes: shit, meet fan... in a BIG way. Wow. @_@
