Wadjet Eye Games (Blackwell series and publishers of Gemini Rue/Primordia) are releasing a remake of one of their first games, The Shivah. The new version will be called The Shivah: Kosher Edition, the primary feature is upgraded graphics. Fans of Joey Malone from the Blackwell series should be interested as this was the first game Abe Goldfarb was in. The graphical upgrade brings it in line with Wadjet Eyes newer releases.

The new graphics look great when compared side-by-side with the original. I'm not going to replay it myself, but I totally recommend it to people who like the genre.

That's cool. I've been planning to get this for a while, so this is pretty much the time to buy.

Instant buy. Premise sounds really interesting, and that pricetag doesn't hurt either. :)

is this something good?
it looks to have a lot of references about judaism... but is it something quirky as in god of war or asuras wrath or el shaddai? or is it something serious and nothing made up?

would like to know that kind of information because iam actually interested in those kind of things.

Basically Jewish Rabbi becomes a detective, set in New York.

Way more down to earth. Aging Rabbi having a crisis of faith + murder mystery.

Didn't know these games were that well liked.
The blackwell games are some of the best post-lucasarts point & clicks you can buy. Great dialogue, brilliant atmosphere.

I think the only post-lucasarts P&C's that are actually better are the ben & dan games.
