My car - 2007 BMW 328i Coupe, Montego Blue.

Only mod I did was replace the orange reflectors with clear ones, which you can see in the 2nd pic...

Nice looking car. Recently test drove one and so far I think this car is the top contender to replace my 99 Civic. How do you like it so far?

Finally registered my car in Texas and got a license here.. was a huge ordeal but meh, it's done. Here's my car in all its glory -- Texas requires a tag on the front and back.

Don't you hate front plate requirements? Instant uglification.

Of the few things Alabama got right, no front plate/no emissions testing top the list.

Holy shit, no emissions test???

I stick mine in the dash. Been pulled over twice and was only warned about it.

They don't even look to see if you have a cat. The only thing they care about is the VIN.

Don't forget that the vast majority of Alabama is curvy back-roads and it's one of the best places to have a nice car. God damnit now I miss Alabama. Stupid Cleveland and your winters and terrible roads!

I had a 911... now I have a beater Impreza. :(

I guess i'll play.
I had a bunch of cars in the past and stopped toying with them for the past 6 years or so. Then i got the bug again and picked up this as my weekend car.

1991 E34 M5. Last of the handbuilt M5's. Around 1,700 or so made for the NA market.
With gas prices going up and this thing only getting 10-12mpg, I rarely drive the car. My other car is a B5.5 VW Passat as a daily. Thinking about consolidating...

I drive a badass 92 Buic Riviera I paid $1,500 for. It goes without saying that I really don't give a shit about cars as long as they get me from a to b.

Love it, classic M5. Not a lot of people know this, but ///Motorsports Division actually made a couple of 400 bhp E34 M5's that are still in use today. There's a thread on the net you can read where Detective-BMW owners do a Detective-GAF investigation and track down the cars. Pretty epic.

Finally got the new summer rims mounted on! Next step is to get the windows tinted.

Nice paint, is that an RT? Mine's what Dodge calls "toxic orange" which is basically Hemi orange with metal flake. I'll post some pics when I get back home.

Thanks man. It's a 2010 Deep Water Blue SE. Would have loved to get an R/T, but price, insurance, etc....for what it is though, it's a great car. I'm really happy with it! Some day I'll get a real '70 R/T with a Hemi. Wow, you're lucky, that's a great color. And that also means it's a 2011.....is yours the SE or R/T?

I've owned three f-bodies (camaro/firebird). Can't get away from the "mullet mobile" persona

They are actually good cars and I haven't had many issues with them...besides the damn LT1 opti-spark.

Here's my steed, after spending half the day cleaning it inside and out. Such a pain in the ass, but she buffs up nice:

With the exception of window tint everything's bone stock for now, but I'll be adding this and that as money and time permits.

fddo5z.jpg

It was hard as hell finding an R/T that wasn't loaded up with nice but overpriced accessories. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to have bought it with leather interior, an HDD/NAV radio, custom wheels and all that jazz but I didn't want to finance $10,000 in extra crap over the life of my loan.

rvhyis.jpg

Showing off the new steering wheel they thankfully redesigned for 2011. I've always loved this car but those original steering wheels were butt ass ugly; My old Cavalier had a classier looking wheel than what they originally came up with for the new Challenger.

2h85rm0.jpg

Just plain ol' cloth for now, though my first major upgrade will be to replace this with leather. I found a local shop that will do the whole interior (with orange stitching for a subtle contrast) for a reasonable price, so I'm looking forward to posting more pics when that's done.

I like the idea of this thread.

Thanks! Same here - the basic shape may be the same as any number of 2+2 coupes, but I love the detailing/surfacing and the fairly short overhangs.

Do it. "Break-in" phases are little more than the auto manufacturers covering their asses during the initial period of ownership. It's all about avoiding piston wall scoring and getting the rings seated. Hard accel/decel will seat your piston rings the best. Though at this point, you may have already driven the car enough to seat them as well as they'll ever be.

Rebuilt yet? Heh heh heh.

It does look pretty damn clean, very nice find!
Thanks guys!

The engine was supposedly rebuilt around 50k miles ago, though I have no documentation on that. The 12A runs very strong (for a 12A) so I have no reason not to believe it, especially since the odometer is up to 173k now.

I took it to Road Atlanta for the Mitty this past weekend and put in a few good laps during the touring sessions. It goes where you point it without any argument--lovely car to drive.

Is it a paint to daily this car with the pole positions? Will be putting in Status seats in the next week or so, and am a tad nervous that it will be a bit much for something I drive everyday.

Interesting. My neighbor has a 91 E34 M5 as well in near mint condition. Always thought it looked great, but didn't realize it was that uncommon.

First time in my life that I have ever had a car worth posting. Big upgrade from my 1998 Pontiac Sunfire.

This is my 2010 Camry SE. All black with black leather interior. Has JBL upgraded sound system, heated seats, and moon roof. 186 HP 4 Cylinder. Never have been big on power. I just enjoy the electronics and internal comfort.

Upgrades:
18" TRD Wheels Added
Lowered On TRD Springs
Tinted Windows (20% All Around)
2 10" Boston Acoustics G510-4 Subwoofers (Custom Enclosure)
Kenwood KAC-X1R 1200W Amplifier
Blue LEDs Lighting Floor and Trunk (Pulse To Music)

Thanks, it is actually a firehawk.

Firehawk is basically a different hood, wheels, exhaust and intake from the factory.

They are getting hard to find in good condition. The WS6's and firehawks are moving up in price over the last year at the auctions.

2003 Toyota Celica GT

Mods:

GReddy front lip
TRD exhaust

I have more pics but I hate having to edit the license plate number out lol
That's what I had back in 2003!!! I bought it brand new (without the bodykit though...I had it blue). The 2003 version was the first year with the updated front fasica. I will always love this Celica. I remember I had this car plastered on my notebook in 2000...lol. It's so rare to see this version. The car was discontinued in '06 :(

I was gonna mod this car with a TRD exhaust too. I was gonna get a Veilside bodykit, TRD exhaust, TRD bodykit, TRD supercharger, custom carbon fiber hood (for the supercharger) and black 18" rims. Oh...the memories.

I think the dual exhaust tips are part of the SE package on the Camry, even with the 4-cylinder model.

I'd be curious to see pics of the interior and in-car entertainment stuff, particularly the enclosure. :)

Yes, it has dual exhaust lol

Not neccessary, but it's there for looks.

I do not have any good pictures of the interior and trunk setup. I will try to take some tonight or tomorrow. It may be too dark tonight for my phone to get a good picture.

The box really does not look all that special, but I designed it perfectly in terms of port sizes, port depth, and enclosure volume to get the sound I wanted. There are actually formulas to calculate everything.

It is a standard square box with square ports. I do have a mount to the right that my amp sits on for easy access.
