Spoony just got back from Washington, DC in an effort to dissuade Congressmen and women from voting for SOPA/PIPA. He said shooting for the next video should happen today. Give a few more days for editing, and we're talking this weekend/early next week if the schedule he gave is accurate.

Sooo. Decided to try the FFX video. Intro has a much thinner version of him hitting everything, because that's what internet guys see themselves as.
Then not even six minutes in and a ton of criticisms about the game (and IX) have been that it's "faggy".
I am really not impressed with this guy.

Had no idea that's why his content had dried up, I assumed he got a good job or something.
No he moved to Miles house in 2010
in April 2011 his and his ex girlfriend Jessica ( aka Scarlet-something- ) parted away, Spoony got destroyed by that (srsly),went emo on twitter, drinking, mentioning her in every video blog he made like in almost almost begging her to return in a very sad way, got depressed for real and visiting a shrink/doctor, his TGWTG friends were trying to help and cheer him up since.
2011 was just a horrible year for Spoony, and not just because of his ex, but also his Brother Miles -a policeman- in self defense killed someone,his health condition went even worse, and his close friend Linkara also parted away with his GF too.
on the good side his latest videos "post GF/Apocalyptic Spoony" (and when he is not crying and whining about her) are improving.
Which is what I just said.

I was really glad to see something new from him yesterday. I enjoyed Skullduggery, even if it wasn't his best. The magician scene cracked me up since oreo was randomly in the background at one point and then he pulled out the cookies. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I got my best laugh from that.
Miles' cameo was great, too.

I only saw one video where he was crying about his ex (Breaking Dawn vlog). Everything else he seemed okay, especially when he got his new puppy. Not sure where you saw that.
Plus that video was specifically because the subject matter was something that he and his girlfriend used to do together (go to see the latest Twilight film and make fun of it) so him doing it alone this time had all the fun sucked out of it.

If this is the case, it sounds like his brother was the one that had a bad year. That on top of Spoony moving in with him must have just been terrible.
It's just a guess. I mean, he's a cop, so obviously he had access to a gun. If someone attacked him, it may had gone too far and he shot the guy.

Following Spoony on Twitter is the easiest way to dislike him. He genuinely seems like a miserable, angry person. When he's not creeping on anything with boobs, he just bitches about anything and everything. His game and movie reviews are great. He harnesses his negativity for the forces of comedy quite well. But when he's just free-form whining, it's sad.
So I guess my point is, don't follow the guy on Twitter if you like his videos.

Some of his movie and game reviews are enjoyable and worth the time.
That being said, he's in such a downhill trajectory quality-wise I don't even know if he can recover.

I'm fairly sure that his lecherous behavior is a joke as he knows the people (Lisa Foiles and PushingUpRoses) he's hitting on.
But I do agree that his bitterness gets irritating, especially when it comes to Legend of Zelda and he gets into hour long tirades about how he's right and everyone else is wrong. We get it, you don't like a series that a lot of people love!
Edit: Though I do think some of the criticism he gets is unfounded. I've seen some people compare him to Tim Buckley. ... There is so much wrong with that comparison.

I know there's one bit in the Darth Angry Joe vs. Spoony-Wan video, we can hear him say to Jew Wario "but I already played that game 20 years ago" or something like that when talking about Skyward Sword.
