true, but judging from what people have been posting, it looks more like people are harrassing Spoony on Twitter about that original tweet and Spoony is just being a dick to them in response.
i'm just saying that Spoony hasn't brought this attention to his site where a lot of his audience is clueless about this controversy. he's kept it a separate issue. look at all the Gaffers who had no clue about it until people discussed it on this thread.
LK is pissed off at his own life and needs someone to beat up and Spoony seems to be en easy target. Hit a guy while he's down.

No. LordKat is mad because during Spoony's meltdown, he told a member of LordKat's community who suffers from depression that he should kill himself. Add in the fact that JesuOtaku is the girlfriend of the co-host of two of LK's shows and years of animosity between the two... It's easy to understand LK's initial rant. LK has gone too far though and is displaying many of the same childish traits that Spoony has.

This will sound selfish (because it is) but this could work out great for his out put, no more shitty cameos, no more travelling thousands of miles to act in a woeful That Guy movie, and he won't have a hub site to lean on.

outside of cameos,he need real friends like Ed,Doug and Brad.
they(TGWTG guys) were the only one who supported him last year, if they don't invite him to their places and go out with him(for example Doug took him to europe last year), I think a more "lonely" Spoony will snap and break even harder than this.

I would watch if they tried to make a real movie (even if it was bad), but the fact that they end up as just a bunch of people greeting each other for 50 minutes makes it impossible to sit through.

Ah, well by first one I meant the Critic vs Nerd. I enjoyed that, not a fan of the other stuff after but especially kickassia, just generally really bad.
The "first" is that big Brawl in the Chicago hotel. The second is Kickassia, the third is Suburban Knights. They have a fourth coming up.
I kind of liked Suburban Knights. It was silly.

The brawl one wasn't really a movie. That one was pretty funny though. It sort of got out of control after that though.

Personally, no. These types of things tend to make me feel as if I've just walked in on a circle jerk. A lot of the internet reviewers tend to stray too far from what made them entertaining to begin with, and the addition of characters, crossovers, mini movies, etc, tend to expose their limitations rather than enhance their acts.
IMHO the best videos are ones produced by people who simply love what they're doing, are themselves, and just do it in their spare time (e.g. Yakumo's Retrocore). Spoony seemed to start this way, and his occasional Vlogs still are. Because of that I'm not convinced that being part of a group like Channel Awesome is a good idea in the long run, as it seems to lead to the popular video producers producing content as a career rather than a hobby. Videos then are produced out of obligation rather than genuine passion, and we get some producers who I suspect jump on the bandwagon for the cash/cachet rather than enthusiasm for their chosen topic.
In any case, I personally hope that Spoony continues without TGWTG but probably stops using Twitter. It'd be for the best.

I think part of th problem is that a lot of them come from theater and film backgrounds (linkara and doug being two examples, avgn too) and are more interested in making movies than making actual reviews. I agree though that theyre always better when its just a hobby
I always thought if your work is your main hobby or related to it ( like artists/comic artists,some game designers,pro soccer players ) that is the best thing and were the magic and talents explode, and people are lucky to have something like that..instead of a job that you don't like.
The problem here he don't want stop using twitter and still digging that hole.
Pretty sure ThespoonyExperiment.com is(was?sound like he moved it today?)hosted on TGWTG servers,and the videos are hosted on Blip.tv so those won't be affected by this.

Honestly I feel TGWTG/CA is on it's last legs, I feel that Doug's admission of "this is the last anniversary film" and this Spoony explosion are obvious signs of that. I feel that the reviewers who still make videos for fun will still thrive, but those who've turned this into a living are going to have to start finding real jobs soon.

Not to mention that Doug has had to resort to putting ads in the middle of his Nostalgia Critic reviews. Seriously, straight-up commercial breaks. That right there speaks volumes about how the site is doing.
Linkara also said that revenue is down despite consistent views count. So it looks like there are some financial problems.
TGWTG wont go away soon, but they need to change the site,hire new (and good) talents, not only "angry movie reviewers" but guys in everything, reviews latest movies, animated stuff(like what Egoraptor do on youtube),guys who do skits and parody about other stuff (similar to the Key of awesome)..ect.

Most of the "new" talent is kinda ass...like the new guy the Blockbuster buster...He kinda sucks.
When he was on TGWTG, he did a series called "Until We Win". Walkthroughs of the hardest games out there. He was also known for a really dark sense of humor.
He cancelled "Until We Win" when he found out doing livestreams was easier, then quit Channel Awesome in favor of constant livestreams and getting money from Justin.TV/Twitch.TV
Another claim to fame of his is when he humiliated Big Fazeek, a contestant on The Tester. I don't know the reasons to be honest...
As far as I know he's most famous for a series of videos called Until We Win, where he shows you how to beat old, hard (and sometimes bad) videogames.
He did get burnt out on doing those though and stopped, I have no idea what he does now though since I only ever watched Until We Win.

The idea was that he'd play a ball busting hard game like Battletoads until he won, and he'd show you all the tips and strategies to get past the hardest parts of the game. The issue was that he used save states which zapped most of the challenge of playing those older games. The real challenge came from limited continues and having to play the whole game over again to practice the harder areas. They were usually pretty funny/informative and was a pretty solid series before he nixed it do to fan backlash at his save stating nature.

From what Lewis told me, it was a change in international advertising policy that really hurt them.
Harry posts his new stuff on youtube and not on TGWTG for some reasons (I guess his stuff are offensive or he is not with them anymore) there are many good guys on youtube ( like jaxamoto and jae55555) how post every two weeks or something.
The last one they hired was another movie reviewer (Blockbuster Buster) why another one doing the same fucking thing with nothing new ? How about more guys talk about stuff ( entertainment news) and give his opinion like Nash, some one who talk about shitty video games companies like EventStatus, Mega64 wannabe, hell even something unique like that crazy HowToBasic.
the whole angry movie reviewer shtick will not last long and it's why the site is in decline and that why they need new material and more variety.
For new Channel Awesome entrants, I recommend Oancitizen from Brows Held High, he reviews art house films.

I don't understand how anyone can like Spoony anymore. He's completely lost his god damn mind. He constantly makes rape jokes/threats and lashes out at anyone trying to tell him "yo that shit ain't right." I've never been a big fan of the guy but now I think he's turned into a straight up horrible human being.
