So many of those are absurd that it seems silly to trust even the ones that sound remotely reasonable, since they're probably made up as well.Xrenity said:Juicy rumorsssss... Bolded the ones that seem to be alright. Got no source though, so take this with a massive heap of salt.

I want Pikmin 3 SO MUCH I can hardly even stand it. If it has the multiplayer from Pikmin 2 playable online, I think I could upgrade its status to most anticipated game for me, bar none. I would buy a Revolution with an online-enabled Pikmin game even if I knew it was the only game coming to the system for the first year.WordAssassin said:Uhm...?
As for those rumors, in all honesty it wouldn't surprise me if Pikmin 3 WAS 100% complete - or atleast, done and just being tweaked and polished. Pikmin 2 came out in what, 2004? It's 2006 now, that gives them 2 years to make a new one (First one came out 2001/2002, right? And Shiggy has said that it'd take less than a year to make a new Pikmin game in the past, when P2 was scheduled for a year after P1's release).
They'd really just have to upgrade the graphics and add FreeStyle compatability, and they'd be done. Miyamoto has even said several times that the FreeStyle controller is particularly well suited for Pikmin.
If there isn't a Pikmin game at launch, I'd expect to see one within the first few months of the Revolution's life.

Dragon quest was announced on Nintendo.com.Mama Smurf said:People say that, but I watched the conference live. They at no point mentioned Donkey Kong Revolution. Others say Dragon Quest was alos announced...again, never happened. You look at IGN...so desperate for Rev news, even more so back then...absolutely no mention of a DK for the Revolution until they report on the Famitsu mention of it.

Anyway, anyone else scared that there won't be much to pick up at Rev launch? With the shitty graphics of the second Red Steel shots, I'm kinda scared. I don't know.

Its not because of casual gamers who you probably think have no clue about videogames that made GTA sell really well, but its because its an AAA title. GTA is an excellent game. Before it was released, there was no other game like it. GTA offers so much freedom to the player and thats one of the main reasons why its so popular. You dont have any rules or boundries, you could basically do what the hell you wanted.Doc Holliday said:Not to mention that GTA, one of the worst looking games this gen outsold both MGS 2 & 3, Resident Evil 4, and God of War
Who knows what the hell casuals are gonna do.

Yeah, actually standing and acting like you're batting or something would get old. But something similar could be done on a minor scale; move the revmote a slight amount, and it determines how high and out you swing, and with what strength. Keep it sideways to bunt. Whatever.AniHawk said:You'd have to be standing for a baseball one. Frankly, I think any sports game required to throw or swing something would get old real fast.
I think the better example would be GBA.Saoh said:dont forget the DS. i blame Microsoft for people believing that logic :lol
What, you don't like GTA because its not graphically up to par with those other games? GTA's success has nothing to do with its graphical prowess, it has everything to do with its design. Besides, there's no comparison graphically to begin with. The world in a GTA game is HUGE compared to most games, and especially compared to the games you mentioned when you consider that you are always able to visit almost any part of it at almost any time. Graphical fidelity is going to take a hit when you're working with those kinds of environments, but it's more than worth it in providing the kind of world GTA does.Doc Holliday said:Not to mention that GTA, one of the worst looking games this gen outsold both MGS 2 & 3, Resident Evil 4, and God of War
