TGS is next week. Nintendo doesn't do TGS.

$179 would actually work IMO. It's super cheap, and you have room for price drops. They wouldn't have to go with the standard $149/$129/$99 price drops either.

Since the 360 is flop failure total in Japan, I wonder if they take the USA market into account when pricing the system. 360 is moving at a decent pace here, and could accellerate sales with a price drop. Let us say the Wii launch at $249.99 in the USA. What happens between March-May2007 when MS drops the 360 price 100 bux0rz. You will have a core 360 priced lower than the wii, and if Nintendo slashes the Wii price 50 bux0rz it is still only the same price. That really doesn't look good for Nintendo and their value mantra.
