Terminator Salvation is the biggest pile of shit I have ever seen. I'm actually in complete shock that some people here like it, you people are to blame for classic franchises getting ruined.

I actually liked 3, obviously it's nowhere near 1+2 but I enjoyed it, haters gonna hate. Salvation is just stupid though.

One of the coolest things about Terminator 2 was the vision of judgement day, and the cool aesthetic that the future had. Salvation ruined that. It also just made no fucking sense. The trailer's cool though.

I can't believe some people are recommending the Sarah Connor Chronicles. The first season was just about watchable despite the horrendous casting, but the second was, aside from Shirley Manson, complete and utter shit. There were a lot of good ideas but it was never coherent and the massive budget reductions meant a painful lack of actual Terminator action. I really like the Cameron character, but that's about it.

Film-wise, onviously the first two are the only great films. 3 is a dreadful movie but the last 10 minutes was brilliant, Salvation again had plenty of good ideas but just never brought them together cohesively. They should have gone with the original idea of Connor being this voice on a radio who only appears at the end, Bale's casting got in the way and just muddled everything up. It was better than T3 though, just in terms of visual design.

The dropped idea of Connor becoming a Terminator was actually not that bad, I always thought it would play nicely with that shot of future John in T2, where he scans the horizon robotically.

I love both T1 & 2. Some parts of 3 weren't so bad; 4 just did nothing but disappoint me and I should have known right away when they had to mention the title TWICE in the span of like three minutes at the start of the film.

I really enjoyed TSCC as well, young John was annoying at times.

Yeah, if you want to watch a shitty tv series that feels NOTHING like Terminator, has painfully bad filler episodes consisting of most of the series and a shitty budget so they can't do anything cool. It also ends on a cliffhanger. Yeah, great series.

Yeah many things. It's just that when it's something I really like (like the terminator franchise) it's really difficult for me not to like anything related to it. I have this problem.

Seriously? I thought she was terribly miscast. She didn't feel like she could jab you in the neck with a syringe full of drano, she had none of the edge of T2 Sarah. She's supposed to have gone a bit loopy post-T1 but that never came across.
