The Trial of Kyle Bosman

This one had me literally crying while laughing, brilliant.

And it shows how ridiculous the complaints (and even removing the subscription, wtf?) by some people were, just look at this commitment to follow the joke!

EZA are clearly the best in the biz.
 
One of the best things EZA have done as of yet.

I'm personally glad Kyle did what he did as I don't care for watching him play LttP (a bit maybe to see Kyle wince in pain I guess). But I'm not sure if I want him to continue weaseling out of bets though as it kinda undermines the Final Bets stakes. I think it would be hard to beat this anyway so they should play ball when it comes to doing the punishments from the bets from now on imo.

Also, Bloodworth just killed it with his points from his notebook. That shit would've legitimately gotten Kyle in a real court lol

Bosman wins and Huber has to perform the puppet show that's based on the viewer's vote, they vote for a SAW themed show. Huber destroys 10 of Kyle's action figures.

People have hacked lttp to add blonde hair and I think he Sprite does look worse, flatter in some way. I think they were tying to give the Sprite more color to show off the snes palette better. In blonde he looks flatter like an nes game.

Kyle was convicted and now carries the Label of Welcher for the rest of his days.

Great event last night. Watching Ben and Brandon reactiobs in the background was entertaining

Tastes are different. LttP is one of my last liked Zelda titles and I too like SS better than it. I wouldn't consider LttP (or any Zelda game) a bad game though. Still, people are allowed to like our dislike games as they please and Bosman is not exempt from that.

Also if you let one "bad" game decide the outcome of playing a critically acclaimed game series spanning more than 10 titles over 30 years you're doing something wrong.
 
Also congrats to the always great work Brandon does on the background. I would loveto see him as an extra in a film one day, he would steal the scene.

Yeah, it was pretty disappointing. Which is pretty much why a lot of people wanted to see him play LttP so they could get a better handle on his description. This trial was better than his reasons could have ever been though. Loved every minute of it.
 
Amazing! I wish I could see the look on the Pizza delivery man's face. lol

Also the Kingdom Hearts/Anime Insanity defense was just the best. And Sophie objecting to the Jones betrayal.
 
Awesome trial, so sad huber stepped in at the end though and let kyle off the hook with zelda. would have loved to see him play alttp.

To show theres no bad blood and for kyle making up for his failure at being a decent human being (not liking alttp) they should stream and play it together. swapping the controller after certain increments (every hour/every dungeon/every gadget)

I think people would really like that, and it could get a lot of views, what do you guys think?
 
What would've been a much better outcome for the punishment would have been to have Kyle come over for the stream and debate Huber the whole time. I'd watch that!
 
Playing LTTP after playing Link's Awakening has always felt bad, and every successive Zelda game I play makes LTTP less enjoyable.

I have no idea who this person is, but I agree with him. I don't enjoy Link to the Past at all. I've played lots of hours (maybe a couple of dungeons?) and I find it pretty dry with sloppy combat and tedious dungeons.
 
Yet again, the public voted in a matter of huge import and was found wanting by a 51-49 slim majority. Decisions of this magnitude should require a 2/3 majority at minimum to change from the status quo.

Well while I wanted to see Bosman play ALTTP( not because I wanted to see him suffer, but because I wanted to understand why he hates this game so much since I really like his opinions even when I don't agree with them), I think the decision was unfair. Huber created a contract before the bets with help of people who would make difference on the results! Just this fact alone is enough for me to be #TeamBosman and think the contract is void since Bosman didn't know that prior to signing.
The only fact that does not let me defend he did nothing wrong is that he tweeted (and deleted) he would make mockery of the contract. He confessed ,before the trial, his intentions were no good.
So while I don't like what Huber did ( and the fact he did not honor some bets just helps me to like it even less), Kyle confessed on twitter and IMO would be a better defense for him to focus on nullifying the contract instead of saying the terms were fulfilled. I think Huber needs a trial too..

For the record, I've played every Zelda game and also never bothered finishing A Link to the Past. It's not very good.
 
Oh god they were on the verge of laughing so much at almost all points of the stream that it's funny they kept the lid on so much.
 
Now that I look back on it, I don't actually think that fondly of a link to the past I like Link's awakening and a link between worlds a whole lot more... was this Bosman's plan all along?
 
Kyle was shown to be an absolute fraud this time. I am beyond happy he for once was found guilty for his shitty trolls.

Huber and Bloodworth were totally in their right to what the contract said and how Kyle clearly violated the terms. I mean stop looking for so many loopholes ffs, just play the game and grow up. Jeezus.
