I have been thinking about it for a while. It's just I have to come up with a viable business plan that leads to profitability, which is the least fun part of the process :lol

I mean obviously you need admission fees that are SORT of market friendly, but I think it'd be difficult to not be sort of pricey. That's why I gotta try to break things down. need to talk to someone who is business savvy.

Basically, this is how you do it.
It would have to be a much larger scale type of thing than any laser tag arena. Like say an old abandoned part of a city.
You'd charge $20/30(?) per person for a day pass.
You'd start off each day with about 50 zombies, and as the day progresses and people are "killed" they will become zombies, making your horde larger. That way, you aren't paying an insane amount of actors per day, just maybe a handful.
You'd, of course, have rest/concession areas and shops (to help pay for the park).

Difficult part with your idea is user participation. Do others want to be zombies, and if killed, would they stay around to be zombies? Plus, it'd sort of break believability if only certain zombies are painted and have costumes, no?

Eh, kind of true, yeah.
It's just hard to get a lot of people to act in character for so long, especially from a business perspective.
I suppose, a better alternative would be to have people choose which side they want to be on (plenty of people would love to be zombies). Then put them in some quick makeup (doesn't have to be Hollywood quality).
Realistically, both sides would have laser gun type things, but the zombies could only use them short range.

think of it as the zombie version of Williamsburg Virginia!

Man I want to read the comics soo bad. I'm broke though. :(

This is the reason why I skipped watching Naruto back when Dattebayo was subbing it and just read the manga. I'm really impatient.

1) I can't think of a single existing legal service that streams live TV to your computer without some sort of payed box or subscription. And I don't even think there are many of those.
2) iTunes has it the day after.

I would recommend torrenting to watch 15 or so minutes after it finishes and then buying it, but then you're an hour and 15 behind discussion anyway. So you could just wait and watch an iTunes copy.

Well. I guess ill try to see it at someones house then resort to torrent and buy it if I don't make it somewhere. Someone needs to jump on this piece of the market

Well that piece of the market has been jumped on...by the cable companies :lol

Can't freaking wait for tonight.

My night goes even more fun as I normally walk over to my buddies apartment to watch it over there. He lives in an apartment complex that backs up to the back left of my neighborhood. Well needless to say two boards have been removed off the backside of the apartment complex fence to allow someone to squeeze through to get from the my side to the apartment side.

Fun part is that it is in a bunch of woods with no street lights or anything around. Makes for a spooky walk home after watching this show! haha :lol

They got a freaking countdown clock on AMC HD till tonights episode :lol

actually watching AMC hd today isnt a bad idea, they got Bone Collector, Deep Blue Sea, and the Abyss up until Walking dead.

Im certainly tuning in for tonights episode. Loved the premiere. AMC probably has the best tv between this, Mad Men, and Breaking Bad.

That's actually a pretty dope idea, don't know why it hasn't been attempted yet.

It would be ideal during October-ish though. But all year round would be fun too.

Terror works is a business that does a similar thing generally traveling around to conventions. They set up elaborate sets with stories, giving airsoft guns to players who run through the event and other gear like tac vests, with zombies involved. They generally do it as a sci fi setting though like interiors of space ships with alien zombie like things.

Man, DLS....got me all mixed up.

Thinking it's like 2 or 3 PM when I wake up, it's 11 AM. Making me feel like Football's on way too late, but it's not. Feels like 10-11 PM now, and thought I missed TWD. Nope, still have 45 minutes!

So upset that I'm gonna miss it tonight. :(

Not in the least the psychological burn on the actors of playing a zombie more than once or a few hours, violence (vandalism) against actors (yes, there WILL be one of those people) and unwillingness to play the part in a continued fashion.

In might make a good single / irregular event or license idea or something, but I don't think the human factor works here at all. Consider for a moment that the zombie was invented as a social comment (sort of) on the fastfood structure of society and fastfood restaurants burn personel in an average of few months, which means weeks and days in a lot of cases (probably numerical stacked, not normal division).

About damn time. Thanks GAF for getting me into this show, need to get the comics. I did purchase the episode over the Zune marketplace to watch on the 360 and my Zune.

Zombies are the only horror movies that would freak me out as a kid. TWD makes me feel like a kid again.
