The Wii U has a deeper library than I expected. Let us share what games we have.

Very nice.

Very nice indeed. Also i haven't seen this colonel ives gif. also nice.

Damn, I was hoping to make this thread myself once I hit 100 games, but I guess I might as well show a picture now. :)

I realize quantity doesn't necessarily mean the library is deep, but it's certainly larger and deeper than people give it credit. It does have 112 physical games released for it worldwide, afterall.

I currently have 80 out of the 88 games released in Europe, and all 9 USA exclusives as well. No Japanese exclusives yet (there are 15 of them at the moment). I'll try to catch them all at the source, when I visit Japan in November. I've also collected various editions of the same game (like ACIV: regular edition, Skull Edition and Buccaneer Edition. Still missing the Black Chest Edition, lol). Counting all these, I have a total of 95 games for the Wii U.

The Watch Dogs in the bottom center is just a sealed preorder pack from GameStop. :)

Holy shit that is one sexy Wii U collection

I might get wonderful 101 at some point, but my next likely buy won't be until hyrule warriors (there just isn't really anything else that interests me on the console at this time)... which was the main reason I got the system.

I'd maybe have a bit more that appeals to me, but I refuse to use the eshop on principle.

edit: I forgot donkey kong, I will likely get that at some point when a decent sale hits ($30 or less)

Sold mine a while ago but I'm looking to pick one up again some time next year, likely when the new Zelda hits. So far I'm looking at getting:

Pikmin 3
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
The Wonderful 101
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Super Mario 3D World
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Hyrule Warriors
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
The Legend of Zelda
Yoshi's Woolly World
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

My little brother just bought one about a month ago.

I have to say all of my prior statements about the console are still true. It is a hard sell. Even to a Ninty fan like me, but it's a nifty little console when you get your hands on one.

edit: He doesn't have much yet. NSMBU, Mario Kart, Pikmin, some VC titles.

Quoted a million times I know, but this really is fantastic to see. I've always fancied the idea of owning a complete collection for an underdog system - but the possibility of sometimes paying top dollar for harder to find trashy titles puts me off.

Also had no idea there were 15 Japanese-exclusive Wii U games at this point!

Man, if WiiU had GC compatibility like the Wii, it'd be my favorite system of all time. Cause then you would have WiiU, Wii, GC, and all the other systems available on eShop and Wii Shop Channel. :O

Physical: NSMBU, Nintendo Land, Zombi U, Pikmin 3, Game & Wario, Batman: Arkham City, Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost World. LoZ: Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, The Wonderful 101, Lego City Undercover.

Digital: Pokemon Rumble U, Dr. Luigi, Trine 2, Cloudberry Kingdom, Wii Fit U, NES Remix, NES Remix 2, Pushmo World, Child of Light, Art Academy Sketchpad, Nano Assault Neo.

VC: Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, Mother 2, Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, Super Mario World, F-Zero, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Metroid: Zero Mission, Glory of Heracles III, Punch Out, Super Mario Kart, Super Famicon Wars, Wario Ware Inc., Advance Wars, F-Zero GBA, Golden Sun, Wario Land 4, Mario & Luigi RPG, LoZ: Minish Cap.

Also bought a bunch of Wii games that I missed out on.

So any reason why you are missing the other 8 PAL games? Also do you collect all the DLC as well?

I've had the console for 1 year and 1 or 2 weeks and I only own two games: SM3DW and TW101. I enjoyed both games a lot but didn't go for 100% completion in either because Champion's road is just frustrating (I got all the achievements for Super Meat Boy and it never got close to being as annoying as Champion's road) and TW101's mini games get really tedious on repeated play troughs. I'm glad I own the console though because those two games alone make it worthwhile.

Most of the other games that interest me don't interest me enough to put up with their high price because I know I could get a couple of other games that interet me just as much on pc for the price of a single wii u nintendo game. I'll get Mario Kart sometime down the line and I'll definitely get Bayonetta 2 day one.

Sad lack of indie games.

The eShop has blown up significantly recently, it's almost intimidating the amount of fun-looking content up there now.

I own one eShop title which is Wind Waker HD because of the Mario Kart 8 promotion.

I plan to eventually add Xenoblade X, Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors, Smash Bros U, and Zelda U to my collection.

I don't know where to begin what the best exclusive digital stuff is on the eShop.

I am always open to recommendations of course. Of course I should mention I will only buy eShop titles if they are exclusives to the Wii U. Anything already on PC such as Trine or Shovel Knight for example, I'd naturally get on my PC.

So any reason why you are missing the other 8 PAL games? Also do you collect all the DLC as well?

Nah, I just collect the physical stuff. But I do have a lot of downloads as well.

Just haven't found the remaining at a decent price, most of them are still too new. Three of them actually came out just last month. I'm only paying full price for good games, I get the shovelware from bargain bins. Here's a list of what I'm missing. Not too many gems left. :)

-Fit Music for Wii U (Sources say this came out as a physical game in Europe, but haven't found one yet)
-How to Train Your Dragon 2 (Just came out, full price)
-Just Dance Kids 2014 (Trying to find an SCN (Scandinavia) region code version, but that one wasn't distributed in Finland)
-One Piece: Unlimited World RED (Just came out, full price)
-Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures
-Phineas & Ferb: Quest for Cool Stuff
-Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure (PAL version only out in Australia, usually Australian eBay sellers don't ship outside their country)
-Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark (Just came out, full price)

Also had no idea there were 15 Japanese-exclusive Wii U games at this point!

Yeah, although there are some there that have been released as download games over here, but the physical copy is exclusive to Japan (Like Famicom Remix, F1 Race Stars, FOTNS). Here's a list:

Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online
Dragon Quest X: Nemureru Yūsha to Michibiki no Meiyū Online
F1 Race Stars: Powered Up Edition
Famicom Remix 1+2
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2
Just Dance Wii U
Kamen Rider: Battride War 2
Monster Hunter Frontier G
Monster Hunter Frontier GG
Puyo Puyo Tetris
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XII
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XII with Power Up Kit
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
Taiko no Tatsujin: Wii U Version
Yakuza 1+2 HD Collection

Retail:

Amazing Spider-Man - Pro Controller is fantastic for this one, very clunky GamePad usage.
Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's Cut - Must go back and finish this one day.
NintendoLand- Got this with my launch unit and didn't use it much until friends started coming over. Now it's one of the best Multiplayer games ever.
Rayman Legends - Bloody brilliant.
Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed - Second only to Mario Kart 8, and that's a photo finish.
Super Mario 3D World - Gaming genius distilled.
Wonderful 101 - Game of 2013, beyond any doubt in my mind.
The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD - Made a game I already liked into one I absolutely loved.

Digital copies of Retail games;

Mario Kart 8 - Little needs to be said; Looks, sounds, and plays amazingly.
Pikmin 3 - Never been a huge fan of the series, but this one is pretty good. Freebie with MK8.
One Piece Unlimited World Red - Lots of Charm in this one, good fun beat-em-up/
Wii Fit U - Pretty good for lighter workouts.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - One of the best fighters on the system. Not that there's a lot of competition admittedly. :P
Sonic Lost World - Big Sonic fan but wasn't too keen on this. Looks pretty though, and the earlier worlds are decent.
Monster Hunter 3G Ultimate - Really need to get back into this, haven't the time at the moment.
Pac Man and the Ghostly Adventures - Review Code. Decent little platformer. Pac is really creepy though.
Tank Tank Tank! - Free download. Good for a mess around.
Wii Sports Club - Waiting for a sale on each sport.

Wii U eShop stuff;

Child of Light - Beautiful.
Pullblox World - Addictive and ridiculous replay value.
NES Remix - Not really into high score games, but I enjoyed the concept.
Trine 2 - Launch purchase, have yet to finish it. Hoping to try out the three player mode soon.
Nano Assault Neo - Same as above. Great looking game.
Mighty Switch Force 1 + 2 - Awesome little platformer/puzzlers.
Bit Trip Runner - More of a curiosity purchase. Good fun.
EDGE - Trippy.
Pure Chess - Wanted to learn how to play, this was a good way of doing so.
Ducktales Remastered - Moon theme is still awesome.
Zen Pinball - Freebie. Probably won't be getting any tables tbh.
Giana Sisters - Beautiful stuff, great music too.
Toki Tori 2 - Not keen on it tbh, looks like a good game though,
Little Inferno -Quirky and different, love that kind of thing.

Virtual Console;

Golden Sun
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
Brain Training
Earthbound
The three versions of Street Fighter II
Breath of Fire II

My little brother just bought one about a month ago.

I have to say all of my prior statements about the console are still true. It is a hard sell. Even to a Ninty fan like me, but it's a nifty little console when you get your hands on one.

edit: He doesn't have much yet. NSMBU, Mario Kart, Pikmin, some VC titles.

I was a little sceptical when I first got it, but it really grows on you. Its gotten hundreds of hours of playtime since I got it six months ago.

I <3 quickstart. MK8 gaming in about 40 seconds. Each cup takes around 10-15 minutes, so I can sneak in a quickie while the missus goes to the shops and still look like I've being productive.

Very, very nice collection. I'm considering shooting for a full collection (cuurently at 30+ retail). I assume you are the same finngamer on youtube? If so, I enjoy your video's. Wish the US received the some of the Nintendo Collectors editions you get in Euro.

Only have 3 digital
-Wind waker (bundle)
- Sochi Olympics (free with MK8, should -Have gotten W101, but foresight is 20 20)
- Brain Training (free for some reason)
Physical games
-MK8
-3D world
- RE Revelations
- NintendoLand (dat free controller)
- Sega racing transformed
- ZombiiU
Quite a good bunch, though the reason I bought a Wii U was scribblenaughts unmasked and that still hasn't been released in the UK

Sold mine a while ago but I'm looking to pick one up again some time next year, likely when the new Zelda hits. So far I'm looking at getting:

Pikmin 3
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
The Wonderful 101
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Super Mario 3D World
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Hyrule Warriors
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
The Legend of Zelda
Yoshi's Woolly World
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Curious about this one. Is the Wii U version the best one?

I love it, easily my most played system for the past year and a half.

But a struggling system is quite fun to collector for as well: relatively small amount of shovelware and only three sports games!

Yep, I'm the same guy. :) (link to my channel)

Awesome, I thought it had to be you. I'm bumping this post because more people need to see your youtube channel. Your Wii collection is amazing but you've so got much more in your collection of interest to gaffers.

I hadn't watched your videos for a while but caught up with a few after seeing your post, that Mario Kart 8 unboxing with mini finngamer was awesome, so cute, heh.

Anyway, when you get full membership you've got to make plenty of topics about your collection, people will want to know about it.

Also to other gaffers, this guy finngamer is pretty modest, so he won't brag about it, but I think he's got one of the biggest gaming collections in Finland, possibly even all of Scandinavia.

My collection isn't very big, but I am happy with every game I have.

Physical:
Mario Kart 8
New Super Mario Bros U + New Super Luigi U
Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed
Super Mario 3D World
The Wonderful 101

Digital:
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD

NES Remix
NES Remix 2
Super Mario Bros 3

And making good use of the backwards compatibility, I've bought some more Wii games since getting my Wii U (just new ones listed):
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Kirkby's Epic Yarn
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Xenoblade Chronicles
