The Witch and Hundred Knights Trailer

I'll be really disappointed if you can only play as a hundred of those shitty little things, I'd love something more like suikoden/radiata with 100 characters to find and play as

Yeah, I was hoping for something more like Soul Nomad. Speaking of that, I still need to finish it!

I like anime witch themes so this has me interested since there's not many JRPG witch games around.

Well, abandon all hope because "hundred knights" is indeed the name of that specific monster, the helmet variants seen in the trailer are all you're gonna get apart from possible hidden characters.

An action game with a witch with slow-mo activated by dodging attacks at the last possible moment and short bursts of smash the triangle to deal massive damage to enemies. Where have I seen this before...?

:p

Now that I finally know what it is, my reactions: it would be nice if the witch got more screen time, I hope we get some nifty preorder stuff via Amazon, and I have plenty of time to change my mind based on future information.

Managed to get a reservation down for the first print edition. Am quite happy with that.

Looking forward to the title, since its been a while since played an ARPG on a console. The last one that Id consider great would be Shining Force EXA on the PS2.

Looks....interesting. At least it's something different from NIS.

I dunno about the Prinny team though. Prinny was good and bad at the same time. Those button mash-a-thons were ridiculous.

This doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Kind of like Ni no Kuni mixed with a bit of Ys. Maybe this'll be the first NIS game I actually like.

I just hope they remove some of that intrusive UI.

Also, I can't really tell what's going on at the screen at times. s_s

Even still, I kind of want it just for the goat apprentice and the dog knight. xD

My only concern about this game is that NIS's (published) action RPGs like to quickly rachet up difficulty from easy to not so easy; I generally give up by the time I reach midpoint.

I'm very sorry to dig out this thread, but the game has been out in Japan for a few weeks now and there doesn't seem to be thread. Has anyone played it and want to share their impressions?

I assume we're going to get a release in the west, right? That's what I get from NISA's website, at least.
