I'm tempted to buy this without even getting a Wii U to play it on. Otherwise I feel like I'm turning my back on my favorite game director...
I know that sounds crazy- but that's exactly what I'm doing.
I'm thinking maybe it'll be motivation in time to pick up the console. And I want to support Platinum!

I just noticed that the guy in the black suit is playing what appears to be some sort of orange 3DS-like device. Weird.

This game is so awesome. Played 5-player at Nintendo's booth and the game seemed to keep up the framerate without a problem. This is going to be one amazing game.

I'm curious about this too. It looked pretty crazy when they showed it off. I have a feeling it's gonna be limited to local only though.
Wonder Red's visor closing was totally Viewtiful Joe. I love it.

But also a 3DS too, notice the dual cameras.

Im going to lose faith in the video game industry if this doesn't sell well among Wii U owners.
Looks like a combination of the look of the G&W with a 3DS. I notice it has the 2 holes where the cameras on the front would be, plus the cartridge slot.
In any case, that's a neat little thing to throw in.

In the build I played, back before launch, you could also do the abilities with the second analog stick so classic controllers and the pro controller should be do the trick. I don't see any reason why you couldn't do it with the wiimote/nunchuk ala Okami for the Wii.
That dot matrix is new so things might be a little different.

Man the visuals in this are so interesting. Almost looks like they are trying to go with a tilt-shift photography look, where they blur parts of the image to give it a miniature model feel.
