Yes and no. I get Sunday Ticket because I like to watch redzone and the game replays. I guess I'm what you would call a superfan. If you're only interested in watching your local team and the national games, then I would not mess with it.
And yes, the app is free.
That's not Joe Montana's NFL Football 2K16.
Because you're not watching CBS, and CBS is going to show national ads too. They also have to pay the play by play guys, the lead-in guys, yadda yadda. It's a giant web, but it isn't complicated. Everyone wants their piece, and the only person that gets fucked is the fan.
Must be an Xbox console exclusive app then. Thanks!
There are designated spots for local ads though. Everyone else should still see the live national ads which is where the large bulk of advertising dollars are from. There are ways to track how many people are watching something on the internet, in most cases those metrics are way more accurate that TV ratings, which are probably so projected that they aren't even accurate.
its not, I have it on my Windows 10 Surface Pro 3.
Like Sunday ticket which is available in app?
So I got the update but the app doesn't seem ready. Lot of issues.
Same. Takes forever to initialize and then won't load anything when I finally get in.
Seriously takes like 3 minutes to open the app.
Can we monitor the PSI in the footballs?
Looking forward to this. Reminds me I have to call DirecTV and threaten to switch back to cable to get Red Zone.
BRB
NFL doesn't monitor this, so I doubt it
Is Sunday Ticket through the console going to be restricted to people that live in like 3 cities like it was last year?
NFL, pls let me give you money to watch the games not in my local market...
Wow support for all my fantasy leagues AND red zone?
Gonna have to buy an XB1..

I don't think it gives you Redzone. You have to have a subscription to Redzone for the app to allow you to use it.
That's fine for me if that's the case, I'll have to look into it before the season starts. It says it's available to everyone but it's out of market games only.
I'm in UK so not sure how all that works though.

The windows 10 app kind of sucks, going to be honest. It has the nice interface but none of the nice features, unless i'm missing something?
Scores don't seem to update in real time. If i click on a game, instead of loading stats and stuff in the app, it just takes me to the game page on nfl.com in a browser. The windows version also only has NFL fantasy support, no yahoo or espn.
Am I missing something or is this WTF microsoft?
So I never used this app during the season, but have a quick question for those that did. I am a big Panther fan and thinking of moving another tv into the living room and have this app up side by side with the game for my Super Bowl party. Is it worth that, or would it just distract from the game?
What information are you hoping to have available on the second screen? I do second TV during regular season to have the second TV showing red zone from the Sunday ticket app on PS4 but for single games, not really seeing the point of the second screen if you don't have a fantasy team to keep track of.
