Never been on vacation? Really? Come now. Grab a few friends, plan a weekend, and go camping. Go to an amusement park and get a hotel. Go on a roadtrip.

You can go on a great 5 day vacation for $100 if you bring along people to chip in their fair share, including food, shelter, tickets, whatever you need.

Where/what the hell can you go/do for $100 on a 5 day vacation?

Seen the following movies: Godfather Trilogy, Gone With the Wind, Citizen Kane, and Apocalypse Now.
Ridden a motorcycle.
Eaten any type of meat other than fish, pork, chicken, and beef.
Done Ecstasy.
Been to any theme park during their annual fright fests in October.
Been to any other US states but three: California, Nevada, and Oklahoma.
Learned to swim.
Visited a doctor's office as a legal adult (I'm in my mid 20s btw).
Made more than $5,000 a year working.
Been camping.

For me it was Spanish or French. Like an idiot I chose French, because I'm totally going to be chilling at a villa in Paris or something instead learning the language that is second only to English in the U.S.. My goodie-two-shoes, bougousie (sic) braniac sister spent a semester in Paris though. The only thing I learned was biblioteque is a library. Foreign language should be taught at grade school level.

I can safely say iv'e done about 90% of most of those things.

Particularly the outdoorsy ones (swimming, riding a bike). Being from Aus makes some of those easier i guess.

Camping. It's cheap, it's fun, you can swim, hike, hang out, drink, fish, walk around the nearby folky town, shop for candy in the folky candy store, play basketball/volleyball, canoe, kayak, play cards, etc etc.

My friends and I go up to northern Wisconsin every summer and camp for a week. We don't spend more than 70 bucks and come back with amazing memories and even some fish.

Or is that not to GAF's liking?

I have done everything in the original quote from the OP, and everything that the OP has added to the list. The walking out of a movie thing I was at least close to never doing. It was The Big Lebowski, and I was having a blast with it. But someone in our group of friends had to be home by a certain time so we left. The Thin Red Line is the only movie where I actually walked out of the movie and just started walking around the mall because I was so completely bored, but I returned for the "epic" conclusion.

Things I have not done that may be a bit surprising for your average person.

I have never tasted squash, nor do I intend to.

I have been to Alaska but not Canada.

I'm gonna be a complete downer and say that I did it for the first time a while ago (went nuts on some brownies) and all it did was make me incredibly nauseous. If I sat up at all I became incredibly dizzy. The giggle fits never really happened... I get that just fine for free with sleep deprivation thankyou. :lol

Either or. Most people seem to be content checking off things mentioned in existing posts here, but you can do your own if there's a bunch of seemingly "normal" stuff you haven't done personally. The concept (as was the case in the first topic) is not to say, y'know, "Oh, I've never assassinated a government leader!" because that's ridiculous and it's pretty unlikely that anyone here has.

I know this as an I Have Never thread, but I have done everything in the OP:

Been drunk ... numerous times.
Smoked or taken drugs ... marijuana; don't anymore.
Kissed or gotten laid ... first time for both when I was 19.
Taken a vacation or traveled ... backpacked through southeast asia last year.
Been in any sort of accident, broken bones or been seriously hurt or sick ... had pneumonia when i was 5.
Walked out of a movie ... the Peter Pan remake.
Had a meal at a nice/upscale restaurant ... Vij's- an upscale indian restaurant in Vancouver.
Won anything from a contest or drawing ... drew a picture of my dad chewing bubble gum for an anti-smoking contest when i was 10; that's how he was able to quit; won a $50 gift certificate.
Set foot in a public school ... elementary and high school.
Visited a zoo ... last one i went to was in Singapore: night zoo!
Owned a suit (or even worn one) ... i own two.
Been in a fight ... in elementary school, he used a combination locker to hit me: bullshit.
Had a credit card ... own two.
Worn a watch ... wore a watch all through high school; haven't worn one in years.

I had 3 dozen beer for 2 nights, this is where most my cost goes. I went with 3 other friends as well all staying on the same site. The biggest difference I think is the difference in cost of alcohol, I was in the states last September and it cost me like $23 for 36 beer, where as it costs me about $60 here.
