This forum it's unfair to Pizza Hut

I find it hard to want to eat something that has a spray to colour the dough. That being said, it's about the only place with okay stuffed crust

Pizza Hut vs Papa Johns vs Dominos

The eternal battle of shit tier pizza rages on.

I cannot fathom HOW they get their pizzas so fucking greasy, especially since I make my own from scratch.

I'm not a pizza dude so is Pizza Hut and Dominoes the equivalent to Taco Bell and Del Taco are to Mexican Food?

No not really. Taco Bell is so far disattached from actual Mexican food that it's like saying a Hot Dog is a form of steak. They are pizza, Pizza Hut just chooses to make it taste as bad as possible.

Ya'll be cray.

Papa John's > Domino's >>>>> Pizza Hut >>>>>>>>>>> Coco Brooks (if you've ever had the misfortune)

Papa John's gets my top vote because I will do regrettable things for that garlic-oil-thing dipping sauce they give with every pizza. The pepperoncinis are nice, too.

Next time you make a pizza, spray the pan with copious amounts of oil and you'll see. For authentic Pizza Hut quality, spray the dough with oil, the toppings with oil, the cheese with oil, and the sauce with oil, too.

Pizza hut is my jam, especially dem fat pan pizza *drools*

I just had bacon steak pizza at the Seoul Station Pizza Hut last Friday. The crust had cheese and sweet potato in it and was served with sweet pickles. It was amazing.

I haven't eaten anything from Pizza Hut in probably a bit more than a decade, but why is it considered shit by some? I don't remember it being bad.

Is it because there are better places or something?

Random independent pizza shop > any chain place

I wish this was true in LA, but it's not at all. You can get tons of Neapolitan style wood fired stuff that's really good, but for an American style delivery place, there aren't very many good options, and a ton of places that are worse than Dominos (which has improved a lot recently at least for their pan pizza).

Buy a Pizza Hut pizza.

Let it cool down a bit.

Squeeze the crust.

Observe the sponge-like texture and scream at the grease flow.

Shake head violently.

Move on to a mom n pop store.

Wouldn't think of bashing fast-food pizza joints. They're the only place I can get thick, american style crust and put anything I want on my pizza here in Germany. I still love the Italian pizza I can here in Germany, but when friends are over some thick pizza dripping with ranch dressing, bacon, salami, ham and jalapenos is exactly what we need.

I love me some Papa Johns but a few years ago I ordered a pizza for pick up. The dude had a rash on his arm and was scratching it and took my pizza out and put it in the box with just a rag over his hand. Freaked me the fuck out and I haven't been back since. Too bad it's the only Papa Johns within 20 miles. My ranking is

Papa Ginos > Papa Johns > Dominos > Pizza Hut > Little Caesars

Charlie: Mr. Anderson? Can I ask you something?
Bill: Yeah.
Charlie: Why do nice people choose the wrong pizza to eat?
Bill: Are we talking about anyone specific?
[Charlie nods]
Bill: Well, we accept the pizza we think we deserve.
Charlie: Can we make them know that they deserve more?
Bill: We can try.

Gaf knows nothing about pizzas. First pineapple is bad , then some greasy slice from ny is considered great . Pizza Hut is decent. It's not great. It's not bad. It's eatable. Like Dominio's or Papa John's. But a great pizza is something else. But nobody expects great quality at fast food chains.

Pizza Hut is the only major pizza chain here in southern Sweden, and the sad thing is that it's the only remotely good place for pizza with the exception of one off-shoot pizza place in my town (which I wholly prefer).

As someone who loves pizza I hate that I live in a town where it sucks.

Most local pizza places aren't anything special either, unless they buy their ingredients from local suppliers it's all probably coming from the same large distributors like pretty much everything else in local restaurants.

Speaking of stores with pizza, Meijer in Bay City, MI use to have some surprisingly good pizza from what I remember but I only had it a couple times and it's been a really long time since they discontinued selling pizza, had it at a couple other Meijer's and not so much.

Hey...it's not great, but its better than Little Caesars. I got one of those hot n readys. Had a coupon even, so it was like $2. Still felt ripped off.

Little Caesars use to be so much better but from the ones I use to go to they went to shit some point in the 90s.

.

I don't get this, I have never seen them just basically pour oil all over the pizza or a pizza from any Pizza Hut that was essentially dripping with oil, the only time I've ever seen it is when they're oiling the pan and I've watched them several times while waiting for orders since their kitchen is wide open for anyone to view.

I feel like the pizza from Pizza Hut tasted better when I was a kid around the mid to late 90's. I miss going in and playing Ms. Pac-Man while waiting for our pizza. Oh, and Book-it! Those free personal pan pizzas kept me going as a child.

I sometimes go to Pizza Hut and have some pizzas with the family. I don't know how PH is in other countries but this particular restaurant is pretty high grade, not that fast food plastic chairs and white tables thing. Anyway the people there are very nice, i like them a lot. There's this tiny girl who's basically an irl Poplar. I'm a fan of Working! and that's actually one of the reasons why i like it there so much.

Anyway the pizzas are actually really good. The ones i order that is. I don't know about the others. And there's this one dude who's real cool and wears a pompadour.

LOL, you must be trolling.

Is Pizza Hut the only pizza you've ever had?

Ha, nah, it's true. Growing up in the South many years ago, it was about all I had access to. I don't claim to be a foodie by any stretch (at least when it comes to pizza...sushi or steaks are another story), but it's just what I like. I've been verbally crucified on many occasions because of its but I don't care. NY pizza is overrated.

I occasionally order a pizza from them, it's always turns out the same.

"I haven't had Pizza Hut in a while, I should order some!"

*begins eating*
"This is good, I should order it more often."
*continues eating*
"Damn this is greasy."
*continues eating*
"This is way too greasy."
*finishes eating*
"That was just grease in pizza form. I really shouldn't order this again."

I can get a medium pan pizza and 2 orders of breadsticks for $10 and feed my family on the cheap so they are great in my book. A local pizza place is going to charge $12 for a medium pizza and who knows what else for some sides. I'm out at least $20 for the same amount of food.

Tried Pizza Hut when on vacation in Dubai. Holy shit its fucking awesome compared to what you get in Norway, especially considering you can get two medium meat lovers, garlic bread and 1L of Mnt.Dew in Dubai for the same price of ONE "big" pizza slice in Norway's only Pizza Hut, which is in an airport.

It is one of the few places here that still serves deep pan pizza. I am sick and tired of this thin crust pizza shit served at 90% of places these days.

Pizza hut is horrible. How did you feel the next day when it ran through you and your butt hole sprayed like an opened dam?

I think that Dominos is worse, but dominoes is usually a few bucks cheaper than Pizza Hut, so we used to order that in college.

For the major national chains, I might actually put Pizza Hut highest on the list, but it's still pretty bad. Pizza Hut > Dominos == Papa Johns > Little Caesars. Can't think of any national pizza chains.

Pizza Hut sucks, just like American Pizza in general.

Only Italian pizza is good pizza.

Lol at "all American pizza in general sucks." You clearly don't know what you're talking about.
