This girl I met called me Darling

Last week I sent out a mass email to get a study group for one of my classes. I only got one reply, from this girl. So a few days ago we get together and study in her dorm room, and we do get some studying done, but somehow I end up showing her a bunch of those funny pictures that are posted on GAF. She is laughing her ass off and leaning on me and stuff. I get a good vibe. So earlier today I was chillin by the pool and I get a messege from her and she calls me darling and wants to study again. Do you think I'm in gaf?

darling doesn't mean a thing, sorry. i've had plenty of friends of mine, girls, who call me darling. Of course they are southern, but yea.

In response the actual post, she could call everybody darling. She could only call you darling. Who knows. Either way, pursue this chick. It's not like you got anybody else more important to try and date, right? [Note: this is not a rip on you, nor a rhetorical question. Really, is she the only girl you're interested in? Go for it then.]
 
i've had plenty of people call me honey, and i hadn't known them for more than maybe a minute.

no you're not. but please, keep us posted. i would surely like to know what you study at what time and what she says when you show her some more pictures and stuff like that. this stuff is sooo interesting!

Calling you darling means nothing. The fact she wants to 'study' with you again after showing her stupid pics on the net means she wants to have sex. Go for it.
 
Once upon a time a girl came into Starbucks and told me that if I wanted to get a girl to fallin love with me I just had to call her "Darlin'". To this theory I asked "Darlin'? Do I have to drop the g for it to work?" She assured me that I did, and I never called anyone "Darlin'" ever because I hate it when people drops their g's.

But at any rate, no girls are in love with me (Yes they are.), and it's probably because I don't ever call them darlin'! You're in, man.
 
I hooked up with a girl that called me darling last year. Darling, honey, baby, etc. In fact, she called everyone that, but it's the context that matters.

She was leanin on you, laughin, and asked to study again with you and calling you darling -- that's definitely enough go signs for me.

If you're confident around this girl, just go in for the kill. If not, I'd suggest bringing a bottle of wine, or some other alcohol to loosen both of you up after a rough study session (:lol ) As long as she drinks more, there's less of a chance of you fucking up. (Btw piss drunk is bad)

More than once, girls have called me Hon, just for the hell of it, and haven't been interested, but who knows, if she saw all the funny pictures on GAF, maybe she thinks you have a DS that prints money. :D

Yea, it really doesn't mean anything, I call girls I'm friends with darling all the time and it doesn't mean jack. Girls have weird habits sometimes, I knew one that'd call everybody she knew "babe", and it didn't mean shit.

I'd say that you're in. My girlfriend called me darling all the time when she was first getting all into me. The bigger indicator though is the fact that she was leaning itno you and made a point of planning to meet up another time. The question is whether she's hot or not. If she's some fatty gurgazoid then leaver her be, she's just desperate. Then again, if you're desperate too...
