action was totally fine, car chase was fucking superb. Those guys know how to shoot action in their own very unique way. The problem with that movie was the god awful script.

What, I'm not allowed to say I think a movie is terribly overrated and its fans try way too hard to constantly talk about how amazing it is?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and this is mine.

Edit: I think Pineapple Express is amazing but I'm not zealously defending it against people who think it sucks.

Well as I said in a previous post, saying it sucks was an overstatement. I just think it's a distinctly average comedy that has such a rabid fan following I've grown to hate it in retrospect. When I first watched it a friend of mine was laughing way too hard at every little joke and made the experience incredibly annoying. Over the years I've met various people who just rave and rave about it so much and place in the god-tier of comedies and I can't wrap my ahead around why.

edit: I wouldn't exactly say my opinion is "controversial" compared to the myriad of other crazy posts on this forum. It's just a movie.
