What? No, see if you believe the edge ones are best, then that'd be for the opposite reason that muffin tops are the best parts of muffins. The muffin bottom is entirely surrounded by pan, thus they are the "edge" parts. The top is the nice fluffy part not hardened by the edge of any pan. Thus muffin top = brownie middle. And both of those are clearly the superior parts.

Muffin foils/cups completely tear this apart. When you peel that thing back... softness.

i have a cup that's similar, and it's a nightmare when full because of the narrow base. the tinniest push on the rim will tip it over most of the time.

This I don't get. Is this actually a problem? Most people tend to fight over the middle brownies in my experience, thus making this the worst brownie pan in existence.

I have this, it is the superior way to bake brownies.
