Persona 1 PSP kind of sucked but that was because the original Persona is a very dated and average or less game in the first place.

P2 is a very good rpg, and with speed, interface improvements + english version it should be great. I just hope they do two things 1) give an option for original difficulty balance (since they fucked up the difficulty in P1 PSP) and 2) give an option for original soundtrack (because even though I prefer the modern P3/P4 style, I know a lot of people love the original soundtracks).

I hope were at the point where the main character having a choice to relationship with another young man is fine. Still irks me that was the primary reason we never saw IS.

Just found some scans for it. I've never played it, so I can't tell if they've really upgraded the graphics any or not. There are a few screens from anime cutscenes too. I assume those are new, like the ones they made for Persona.

Yes, but at the same time there is not so much reference to what he did. He is also only there at the very end. Don't see why it's that shocking...

He is only there because of the book written by Jun's dad and that crazy teacher and the fact that rumors are becoming real. Sure you get Nazi in random encounters too but that is all of it. There is no racism or religion bashing or whatever.

This is not really important in the game to be honest. The MC is mute and the choice only affect like 2 dialog boxes and one Contact Combo.... No matter who you choose you don't get much. Choices you make through the games are much more important than the relationship one since they can block you from getting each characters evolved personas.
