Well if it's like Gmail, then it should be 100 invites.carlosp said:an invite option would be pretty kool like in g-mail. Everyone should have 5 invites for 5 friends.

Dear PLAYSTATION®Home Beta Tester,
We are now moving into the next phase of PLAYSTATION®Home's evolution. As a current tester, we'd like you to continue participating in PLAYSTATION®Home.
Your existing PLAYSTATION®Home Beta will no longer work as of approximately August 14th, 2008. You will need to delete the old version of PLAYSTATION®Home in order to install the new Expanded Closed Beta Client. You can delete PLAYSTATION®Home by selecting it and pressing TRIANGLE and then choosing Delete. Please remember to delete your saved data for it too. You will find it under [Saved Data Utility] in the [Game] section of the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar).
Given the current beta testers are getting an updated build, I would think they would want to work out the kinks in that build before releasing it to a larger audience.Byakuya769 said:still haven't seen any word on americans getting expanded beta notices...

Got this too. And... I know this seems weird but... having SCEA take over from SCEE makes me feel better.gamerecks said:I know its not that important, but I got an email stating that the HOME version I have now is obsolete and need to download the new version. Ive been a HOME user since the beginning, so im gonna see if there are any big changes.
The new Home seems to have added chess and checkers to the main "open-air" central area, and its a bit nicer overall. Many more people on now. The recent invites must have been enormous.
Not to rub it in or anything.
