Omg.
You're don't start out as female (I mean for the beginning you're some combination of X and Y chromosomes) but development is the same up to a point which I why men also have nipples.
They both develop from the same area.
They're are kind of analogous in a way. Keep in mind my information is from a college Human Reproduction class so I'm not an expert.

The default sex is female, well kinda. Basically the existence of certain hormones in utero cause differentiation of sexual organs. When you don't get these hormones as a guy it can cause Androgen insensitivity syndrome and other stuff. This may lead to someone being brought up female but have no development of secondary sexual characteristics or periods around puberty. This is usually when someone will think there's something wrong.

Hmmm. The ad at the bottom of the thread for me is for a plus size women's clothing store. As a man who hasn't browsed women's clothes I'm getting the impression that ad-sense thinks plus sized women love them some Mac daddy Tiger nips.
