Because he has come off as a huge narcissistic asshole in a multitude of exchanges/incidents. A lot of what seems to stem from an inflated sense of entitlement. That really turns people away.

At least he's persistent, even if the reboot seems completely uninspired and awkward. But hey, who am I to judge taste?

Both the first and fourth panel "humour" come across as someone poorly attempting Family Guy-level comedy. Which is saying a lot really.
