AFAIK, you can buy "Mexican Coke" from stores. It's bottled and made in Mexico, a country that doesn't force everyone to use corn syrup by artificially raising the prices of sugar so the corn farmers have a reason to work. So it's made with pure sugarcane. I could be wrong, though.

Also, I fucking love Pepsi Throwback. I wish I could still find it in my area. I was gladly paying more for it while it was here.

I did see Coke Vanilla Zero in a store the other day, and Pibb Zero. Coke lost the battle but might still win the war, gotta try those.

Coke Zero and Pepsi Max are fantastic.

I'll agree that Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi are lesser diet drinks. The lime version of the former is decent though, and the cherry version of the latter isn't bad (but doesn't hold a candle to Cherry Coke Zero). I actually haven't tasted Pepsi One in years though, so I can't chime in on that.

Whats strange to me is that apparently the Coke USA get is different to the rest of the worlds in that throw back coke is what the rest of the worlds has.

Something to do with kane sugar and corn syrup or something.

Soda in the US for the most part uses High Fructose Corn Syrup because prices for sugar in the states is really high and HFCS is dirt cheap.

Outside of the US, cane sugar is still used.

Pepsi Throwback was a limited run Pepsi did a few years ago and people loved it, so they made it part of the product line.

Cane Sugar has a better taste then HFCS, which is why soda made with it tastes better.
