Times you've gone full beast-mode...

I used to go beast mode in MW2 and Black Ops 1. Nothing more satisfying that getting 35-0 and the controls are a extension of your mind.

Pub rooms in source as a "break" from team practice. An entire team calling you hacker...so gud.

Most recently tlou online...scavenger rounds where your teammates might as well just hide and get out of your way. More ammo than you know what to do with. Shotgun room clearing with blood everywhere then you hear a laid nail bomb go off and you just wiped the whole team...laugh as you wait for them to respawn and catch up.

I had it a few times in Dota 2 with Tusk and Witch Doctor. All of sudden i am killing other hero's like there nothing but target practice and kill them every single time hell even a ultra kill and rampage would happen. Sometimes in shooters also when everything just feels right being a constant stream of devastation never felt so good.

Went Beast Mode in

Gran Turismo 5 - Online Tournaments, the pressure which one feels when you are driving at the limit and you have your opponent right behind you is something that can make a easy section of a track, hell. Nurburgring, 5 Laps...OMG. That victory was intense because one mistake could ruin it all. You enter this Automatic mode at one stage where your mind is completely ignoring everything but the track and feel of the car.

Pro Evolution 4,5,6 - I was beast at these and I never met anybody who could beat me at the time. Online or Offline. Beast mode is not the right term...maybe God Mode would be more appropriate. AI would occasionally get the better of me.

Many other games of course fall into beast mode category, but these are just two I wanted to share.

I accidentally solo'd Blaine's gym in Pokemon Red with a level 25 Vaporeon who I was just trying to get into fights early to level earlier today. Not full on Marshawn Lynch/Neo level beast mode, but I was more content with this than I should have been.

I seem to recall having a few beast mode moments in Bad Company 2 Rush matches. Lots of merciless killing and producing one sinister laugh as a result

When playing TURBO in DMC and DmC(mod) games and dodging everything, sending granades and projectiles back at enemies plus that sweet devil form. Juggle jungle.

gears of war 1 whenever i got the boomshot, and i always got the boomshot.

for some reason everything about that weapon made sense to me, range and trejectory, splash damage, ect.

i can't even count how many times i hail mary'd shots clear across the map to a direct hit.

same for lobbing the grenades, i was really good at trapping someone between a rock and an explosive place with those.

then gears 2 came out and it would glitch when you hipshot and just blow yourself up. sigh.

Back at level 60 WoW when I raided with 40 people, and probably around 35 of them were just crap. It wasn't too uncommon in the lower tier raids that those 35 messed up and died during a boss fight, but the 5 of us that were left went total beast mode and got the boss down ourselves. The beast mode feeling is enhanced x100 by the fact that all those annoying people you're trying to teach how to play finally shut up over ventrilo and become your audience, and you can just FEEL how they realize how much better we 5 are than them :)

Halo 3.

Dedicated inordinate amount of hours too it and got pretty good. Minimum 20 kills per traditional Team Slayer match generally, towards my peak it wasn't uncommon to reach 30.

ghost recon 2.

Joined a room that was pretty much all of same clan members. Back in the day, since the rooms were user controlled, people would kick out players to make room for friends. End up being clan members on both sides and me on of the teams. To say the least, I demolished multiple rounds. Some of the clan members start talking shit. I talk shit back and tell them it's not my problem that I am better than them. That ticks them off, more curse words bla bla. So I tell them, I will take on their entire clan in a round of lms. 15 v 1.

Map chosen is Quarry. I decide to play my strength as a marksman and choose the M8 sharpshooter since it was semi-auto. I just completely demolished all of them. They didn't even say a word back in the lobby and just booted me. It was hilarious.

When it's just you and three Mason scum in Chivalry and you manage to parry their strikes in perfect sync and then proceed to behead two of them with one horizontal strike and then stab the final guy to death. I doubt I'll ever do something as amazing in that game ever again, but boy did it feel good to do it.

Dat Vanguard, dat Zweihander.

Battlefield 4, fairly often (though I no longer play it).

Capturing a flag on your lonesome. Doing so whilst fending off waves of enemies alone, by relocating and prioritising headshots, is fucking euphoric. I must've killed three squads worth before retreating.

Mega Man Zero 2: Completely whooped both forms of the final boss on my first try. Could NOT touch me what so ever.

Demons' Souls: Got invaded by a guy that invaded my roommate's game. Tried to use the level's enemies against me and was fighting him and them with almost one hand tied behind me. It was insane!

Gravity Rush: Most recent. Final boss fights. I pretty much WAS the Gravity Queen, thanks in part from Gold starring all the challenges before hand.

Once in the original SOCOM in a 8v8 match I managed to take out the entire opposing team. Was absolutely unreal once I got the final kill and it switched the chat audio to all players in the lobby after the match.

I've had a few moments like that in Halo. Here's one that I not only saved, but made the cut for a GAF Montage: http://youtu.be/V27NUP-pdZU?t=2m28s

That whole fucking thing is great, too bad about Halo 4 though.

Slipping into "Zen Mode" is always a great feeling, when you sort of 'feel' what the game is doing. I've had that in everything from Mario to Guild Wars 2. It doesn't necessarily have to be "beast"-like, as I've been playing something like Terraria and just sort of dig without really thinking (that's usually dangerous, as it ends up being 4am when you snap out of it).

Man.....I really hope Destiny is good. Reach was SOOOOOO good.

I just went full beast mode in Titanfall and killed the whole team - apparently there is also an achievement for it. Pretty cool.

It happened mainly in CS 1.6 for me.

The two most memorable would have to be:

When I won a 1 vs 10 situation on a public server on dust2. I had an AWP and thought "fuck it I'll make my stand in mid and kill as many as I can". It's an amazing feeling when 19 people spam chat with "OMFG" and congratulations (probably some cheat accusations in there too).

When I played the best CS of my life against a group of 5 that had a member from one of Swedens better clans at the time. I had more frags than the rest of my team combined as both CT and T. He was convinced I was one of the NiP or SK members. I had to tell him 3 or 4 times that I wasn't until he started believing me.

...and now I can barely hit the broad side of a barn lol

Halo3 when my entire team desynched and it was just me versus the other team. They only beat me by a few kills. I was like the fucking ghost in the darkness...

Never had a game as good as that..well there was Halo 3 doubles and my mate got booted, so I proceeded to destroy everyone else and got the top score. But that was just capitalizing on chaos. The other game I was a hunted beast and I went full on beast-mode.

First Time I ever experienced that was in Gears 1. I basically killed all 4 players with the Boltok pistol and the Gnasher in 1 room.

And like every damn day in killzone2 because I'm not human.

And Mario Kart DD. Bowser jr. and Baby Mario for the kill. ''If you aint first you're last''.

CoD 4 and Mw2. I'd get 30-0s on deathmatch (or whatever it was called), sometime for like 5 games in a row, I got kicked out of a match for no reason once because people thought I was a hack, it's not my fault they were bad at the game.

Sometimes on CS GO I completely wipe out a team on my own in a competitive match, although I'm sure they were flukes, I'm pretty bad at CS.

MW2 when you get the Predator and suddenly start paying complete and utter attention to keep the streak going, twitching about the map like a coked up grasshopper, with heightened awareness of surroundings and the position of the enemy. Picing up unfamiliar weapons and still beasting with them. using the killstreak rewards at the exact right moment.

Being in the zone on CoD is unlike anything else I've ever played. I miss MW2 :(

48-0 on Black Ops on the jungle map with burnt up village, it's still in my fileshare some where. And I've had a few 100+ kill rounds on Red Orchestra 2.

I was quite good in both MW and MW2. Especially MW2 with the Spas-12. Pretty sure I got the chopper gunner in more games than not when I played it at the most. You wouldn't want to face me on Sub-base. I think my record in MW2 was 52-6 on Rundown in TD.

Those super rare CS matches where you single-handedly kill the enemy team. Best feeling.

Yup. Happen to me once
All teammates are done, it's me against 3 players. After intense hide and seek, i manage to win the round.

on MW, i get the most kill by knifing opponent, feel like a boss.

As far as challenging MP goes, probably the only things are TF2 related. I was(am?) a great TF2 player.

Times where you land every headshot + ping combo for 26 straight kills were nice (Can't do this anymore).
Probably most rewarding is wiping a whole team as Scout almost back to back.
Or the horrors of holding a corner/choke for 15-20 minutes because 'THE FUN ENDS HERE. You might have 10x our teams combined score, but I picked demo.' That's more a stubborn move though.

Haven't had insane flow in a MP game for a while and DotA doesn't really facilitate the fast actions I'd associate with that (since I don't play Puck).

Yeah, just a bit ago in Titanfall. Attrition scores of over 70 are fantastic...but 123? Damn.
Was getting over 100 in beta as level 14, AI farming p. good, sorry.

Hearing a clan brag in the lobby of CoD:BO about how they were going to absolutely destroy us and then killing every single one of them. Hearing them scream on their mics as I got another one. Seeing them back out the lobby afterwards.

Basically felt hypnotized as my movements that match were unreal.

I've solo'd some teams on Gears 3 in the past, I remember doing it on Exeuction in the Gears 3 beta and some guy messaged me saying "You are my hero." It felt so good.

I've done it before, but the recent one was Spelunky annoyingly lost all but one of my hearts in Level 1-2, thought I was as good as dead but made a surprisingly good shout on my way to hell, stupid teleporting Bastard nailed me in the temple. >:(

In WoW, I was at the meeting stone in front of Serpentshrine Cavern. Suddenly 2 Horde dudes pop out of the raid instance to summon someone. They summon their guy, and suddenly decide to attack me.

I was alone, waiting for my group. I was a Retribution Paladin, back when EVERYONE SCOFFED AT RET PALADINS because there were so many shitters playing the spec. Hell, Blizzard themselves obviously had something against the spec in PvP because they wouldn't give Ret arena gear with Resilience until... S3, IIRC? (that pissed me off so much). Unfortunately for the Horde, I activated beast mode and I killed all 3 of my would-be attackers. They revived and tried to fight me and I killed them again. They revived again and this time they tried to make a run for the raid door. Oh no. They started this. I dropped one dude, and stunned the next with a Hammer of Justice and killed him again.

Adrenaline pumping, I saw the Serpentshrine waterfall raid door open again and a handful more Horde popped out, I assume to see what's taking the others so long. They start attacking me and I was about dead when MY GROUP'S HEALER ARRIVED AND SAVED MY ASS. We proceeded to kill them all again. More of my group showed up and the Horde slowly trickled back into their raid.

I was so freaking pumped on adrenaline. Best PvP moment of my WoW life. Wonder how much of their raid time they ate up picking a fight with me. I can only imagine their voice chat.

Mw1 and 2 were both incredible for those moments. But gears 1 is still the best. You get into the zone with that sniper and get the most hype and satisfying headshots ever. Several times I've taken out entire teams with sniper alone. What an amazing game it was, and what garbage the series is now.

Playing an online qualifier for BLOPS2.
Got a 4 down and flag return on our flag. The other team refused to play on the same host next game. Felt great.

That and any 4 down SnD in proper matches (not matchmaking) felt great.

Super Hexagon is great at this. You feel like you have gone full Neo every time you improve. Gone are the times of panicking as you try to dodge shit, instead just a constant stream of instinctive lefts and rights. Your hands are on autopilot by the end.

This is probably what I'm most proud of, although going 100 seconds on Hyper Hexagonist was pretty cool too:

Halo 2, doubles matches. I used to get a night every now and again in the zone where I would dominate, every reticule lining up perfectly on heads. Zen.
I wasn't anything special on other nights though, so it really stoked my doubles buddy - 'Awww shheeit it's one of those nights'

WoW for solo healing Sapphiron on our first kill, everything just timing up perfectly after the other healers had bitten it. Rest of the raid did their parts brilliantly but it was still the sweetest thing. Probably one of my most pumped up moments of gaming actually.

Playing as the ghost in nintendoland, figured out my friend's torch waving patterns and can now predict when he moves the light away from my direction. Gets him every tie.

I've had a couple of rounds of Halo like that (out of....however many) I'm usually probably a slightly below average player, but occasionally it all just comes together.
