I went with the Dark Souls II collector edition that launches on the same day. This one while nice is just a bit too rich for a game that I do not know if I will enjoy.

I had the DSII CE preordered, but figured it was nothing special. The free steelbook is more than enough for me.

The North American CE was cheap because it didn't come with the figure. The European one was something like 90 GBP (?).

Sold out at Best Buy, and Amazon, so yeah. There's a market for this. Don't know how many are resellers, though.

Gamestop still have stock, and I bet these sites will squeeze out a few more near release, $250 is a lot of money (I think about it everyday myself).

Edit: In reality, I am thinking of cancelling it in favor of justifying buying a controller with the strategy guide as well (lol).

For a statue of it's size, it's not a bad price at all. I've spent far more for similar sized statues, and this one has lights on it too even.

But everywhere is sold out of the pc version of the CE it seems either way, I was kinda interested...

LEs aren't really my bag in general though. I'm not much of a collector. I prefer to buy things like OSTs and artbooks separately since packins often tend to be skimpy compared to standalone OSTs or artbooks.

I support devs who make a game I love if they make a good collectors kit. Unfortunately as much as I like the guys who make some of the games I spent a lot of time in and was hoping this lived up to their pedigree, after playing the beta Im having a hard time justifying $60 for the game itself let alone this kit.

Maybe if it dropped to my house like a Titan as well.

That said, I'm in for the collector's edition, limited edition controller, limited edition artbook (only 500 were made), turtle beach headset, prima strategy guide, and a normal copy of the game. Technically an Xbox One as well since that's the sole reason I got one.

I'm honestly not sure. I have $150 taken out of my check every pay period that goes directly to an account I use explicitly for gaming purchases. I buy everything on amazon, so nothing is charged until it ships.
