Narrator sounds like straight from those BBC documentaries.
Surprisingly the game doesn't look bad.

Seriously. It's awful. A bunch of gravelly voiced cardboard cutouts spouting generic tough guy dialogue. It's not cool, it's not clever.I really hope there's an option to turn off the atrocious squad chatter.
Wasn't there an ad for this a while ago bragging about how the guy who wrote the Transformers movie wrote this?Seriously. It's awful. A bunch of gravelly voiced cardboard cutouts spouting generic tough guy dialogue. It's not cool, it's not clever.
I stand by itI can see how it might look like Destiny needed PvP. Destiny needed content. PvP is content. But Bungie made so many decisions that adversely affected PvE in trying to balance PvP, and ultimately people moved on to better, dedicated shooters anyway.
I am not saying Destiny PvP is not good, nor well-received, just that the game entire would have better off in the long run without it (not including how it would have looked even thinner on content at launch without PvP, I guess).
Really hoping this lasts longer than The Division as a game people play.

Unless there's some hidden endgame I don't see how that would happen.

I think the expectations would be better pegged at a Far Cry 4 / Mercenaries 2 level than something like Destiny.Really hoping this lasts longer than The Division as a game people play.

It's also not that type of game.
...endgame? What kind of game do you think this is, exactly?
Jesus Christ.
Ghost Recon OG is fucking dead and burried... next to Tomb Raider and so many others in the Graveyard of Once Was.
Wtf did I just watch? This industry is depressing.

I think the game looks beautiful and fun, but I was too hoping for more realism... how many bullet can these guys take...
was open TTK similar to siege![]()
It hurts. A lot.Well, OG Ghost Recon has been gone for a long time my friend. Let it go, let it stop bothering you.
The Division 2
It hurts. A lot.
Ugh but you are right.
Narrator on the vid says it is on easy mode. On hard mode he said it can be single bullet deaths. I look forward to a Siege like challenge too.
Ofcourse you can control it.edit : can we control the helicopters or are they on-rails fast travel system ?
The appeal is for a (lite)tactical shooter with squad based gameplay and co-op, set in a massive open world with various interacting factions to exploit and in general, many tools and vehicles to be creative with.Im about half way through the video and im not seeing the appeal? Seems like I have been to that same outpost dozens of times already. Currently, the game looks extremely boring.
Consider that the division is much more of an RPG than this is, down to enemies having health bars and being bullet sponges.Gaf stay putting me on!
This is line Mordor and Division rolled into one.
Never played a Ghost Recon game but I might have to look into this.
Ofcourse you can control it.
It's seamless open world, you can go and land wherever you want.
There could be a waypoint system with autopilot, but there are other videos where they are clearly controlling helicopters. In the video, it really doesn't seem to be player controlled. The chopper goes where he selects on the map.
Damn that makes me sadThis is the way we wanted to take the SOCOM single player, but were forced to build a competitor for COD since the 360 had the exclusive deal.
Killed our studio and the franchise.
Lost its way the day ghost recon 2 landed.
Despise what's happened to this franchise and same goes for splinter cell, double agent was "ok" at a push but everything after was pure shite.
Yup, hated it. Think I did it twice on a normal run then hardest setting.Did you even play Blacklist?

So I see they still got the towers in there in form of interrogating enemies. I saw all those icons pop up and just went "whhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy".

I never played mgsv ¯_(ツWhy? It's a huge open world and you get information by interrogating people who know information. What would you rather have, that the game gave you the locations by default?
MGSV had the option to interrogate for intel and I never heard anyone complain about that.
Just realized all of my friends are terrible at any sort of stealth in video games. Should be good times!
