Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands | Single Player Gameplay Walkthrough

Seriously. It's awful. A bunch of gravelly voiced cardboard cutouts spouting generic tough guy dialogue. It's not cool, it's not clever.
Wasn't there an ad for this a while ago bragging about how the guy who wrote the Transformers movie wrote this?

I stand by it :) I can see how it might look like Destiny needed PvP. Destiny needed content. PvP is content. But Bungie made so many decisions that adversely affected PvE in trying to balance PvP, and ultimately people moved on to better, dedicated shooters anyway.

I am not saying Destiny PvP is not good, nor well-received, just that the game entire would have better off in the long run without it (not including how it would have looked even thinner on content at launch without PvP, I guess).

You said "Destiny didn't need PvE", I guess you meant PvP? In any case Destiny is fine with both.

You might wanna take another look at what you wrote. ;)

damn guys, reading the comments... captivity of negativity...

Some of you are really malcontent with everything. But whatever, I like this game. Could be an another good release from Ubisoft.

If it will be well optimized for Windows then I'm probably on board

For people talking about PVP, it was confirmed to have PVP many months ago but no other details have come out. I personally am very glad, I'm super pumped for the main game but PVP is what always brings me back.

Jesus Christ.

Ghost Recon OG is fucking dead and burried... next to Tomb Raider and so many others in the Graveyard of Once Was.

Wtf did I just watch? This industry is depressing.

Well, OG Ghost Recon has been gone for a long time my friend. Let it go, let it stop bothering you.

I think the game looks beautiful and fun, but I was too hoping for more realism... how many bullet can these guys take...

was open TTK similar to siege :(

edit : can we control the helicopters or are they on-rails fast travel system ?

Don't need another single player tactical shooter. Co op or bust. Looks like it will be damn fun with friends. The more I see of the game the more hyped I get about it. When they were extracting the target, I totally would have rolled with her in that Ferrari they passed. Doing dumb shit like that will be what makes this game fun. Let's just hope it isn't mechanically broken or too easy.

Edit: I have never played a single second of a Ghost Recon game so I have zero element of disappointment in that regard.

Narrator on the vid says it is on easy mode. On hard mode he said it can be single bullet deaths. I look forward to a Siege like challenge too.

The Division 2

Thank god you are completely wrong. The Division was very boring to me after two days of playing.
Wow, this game looks like a lot of fun. For me it's like the perfect coop T-hunt game with a couple of friends of mine. I'm very impressed with what you can do in this game.

ah, excellent ! didnt reach that part.
the UI is a little distracting, hope we can change color.. the yellow is too eye catching

Im about half way through the video and im not seeing the appeal? Seems like I have been to that same outpost dozens of times already. Currently, the game looks extremely boring.

Gaf stay putting me on!

This is line Mordor and Division rolled into one.

Never played a Ghost Recon game but I might have to look into this.

Ofcourse you can control it.
It's seamless open world, you can go and land wherever you want.

The appeal is for a (lite)tactical shooter with squad based gameplay and co-op, set in a massive open world with various interacting factions to exploit and in general, many tools and vehicles to be creative with.

If you never liked any of these type of games fair enough, but it's a bit like wondering why be excited by Nioh, because you player Souls a million times.

Consider that the division is much more of an RPG than this is, down to enemies having health bars and being bullet sponges.
The similarities with the division probably stop at military dude e create a character.

I didn't get a very good sense of the allied AI from that demo, but I did get the impression that your soldiers don't think for themselves as much as you'd expect in other games - when they're ordered to move up before the first sync shot you're warned that they can be spotted which makes me wonder if they're even attempting to stealth at all. They're also specifically ordered to provide cover fire during the escape which makes me wonder what they'd do if you didn't provide that order.

Am also curious about enemy AI. If a soldier is alerted, will all enemies know your exact position at all times? Or can you pull some last-known-position style shenanigans? Do non-soldier NPCs like all the people you see sweeping in that outpost not notify guards if they see you? Can enemies hear your approach which seems to be implied by all the slow crouching segments or is it purely about line of sight or going loud that alerts them? Can you move the bodies after you take an enemy down? And wouldn't it have been easier to just take out the guards near her cell and walk her up the hill and escape in stealth? Does allied AI actually take down enemies when they provide cover fire or just act to draw aggro? They didn't appear to use any cover.

Still, while it looks like Ghost Recon in name only, it could be fun times in co-op on a Far Cry 4 level.

@9:20 - What a sonorous baritone! It's too bad he's a thug. SMH

Bowman's got a real potty mouth and seems the type to betray you as the surprise mid-game twist. Just Saiyan'

Lost its way the day ghost recon 2 landed.

Despise what's happened to this franchise and same goes for splinter cell, double agent was "ok" at a push but everything after was pure shite.

Need to wait for impressions on how well it plays co-op. My buddies will have Siege for a good long while now I'd imagine, but it might be fun to take a detour with this game if the co-op experience is rewarding enough.

Was always stoked about this game but was a little hesitant after what was showed at e3. This looks way better! Should be a blast with friends and playing on hard.

I'm skipping resident evil and horizon until later in order to get a switch but I'll be getting this day 1!

So I see they still got the towers in there in the form of interrogating enemies. I saw all those icons pop up and just went "whhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy".

Why? It's a huge open world and you get information by interrogating people who know information. What would you rather have, that the game gave you the locations by default?

MGSV had the option to interrogate for intel and I never heard anyone complain about that.

I never played mgsv ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This isn't a buddy comedy.

In other news I'm sure you can disable it if you don't like it.

Game looking better every time new footage comes out, really looking forward to it.

I've said it before, but man I'm struggling so much with how "rigid" this game's animations are. This looks like something I should be all over but it's seriously off-putting.

I'll have to wait for some serious reviewage.
