If her voice acting is any indication, she isn't very good. Then again, a reboot in the same vein of the game is a horror film and it isn't like those are known for good acting (Shining, Exoricist and Rosemary's Baby aside).

I'm leaning toward Ashley Scott from Birds of Prey and various horror films of questionable quality.

Plus, she's already proficient with bow and arrow.

I'd have to vote for Camilla but it's just because I watch Californication and she got naked all throughout last season.

The pic SalsaShark put up of Angie Varona actually looks like Laura though more then Camilla.

Also Oliva Wilde, while stupidly, stupidly hot, can't be Laura, not enough curves or bust.

Laura? She's been an iconic character for many years I'm not sure where the thought with some that her name is Laura comes from (they are pronounced different) even though they say Lara in the games and movie with Angelina Jolie countless times. Also Olivia could wear padding if they thought it appropriate. I believe Angelina did.

Anyway, whilst the new Tomb Raider game does have its good points, I feel that if they continue on this way with no other side projects (like Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light) then Lara is going to lose her iconic image. Not only in looks but also in attitude/humour. It's a bigger jump than classic Sonic and recent Sonic in some respects. Hopefully she doesn't lose her smarts at least in the new movie representation they're planning.

I'm just now hoping that the next game shows her growth closer into the more recognisable Lara (including her acrobatic abilities + Croft Manor).
