The fact that he scored 60 points and won does not mean that they wouldn't have won without him scoring 60 points. And guess why the team was averaging 41%. It was largely due to the fact that Kobe dragged it down that low thanks to shooting the most shots per game on a horrible 35%. So the average would have been higher if it weren't for him. And the rest of the team shot 54% during this game, higher than Kobe again.
You are playing in hypotheticals now. Yes he was a contributing factor in their issues but things weren't much prettier without him.
Let's stick to the facts. Kobe was the overwhelming focal point tonight and in games past this would of been a recipe for a loss and tonight he won the game. End of story.
Quit jumping through hoops to diminish a win you are indirectly giving more credit then it should be given the opponent.
