Saying a campus should adhere to free speech is not being "on Milo's side".
You know what I mean. In terms of the debate on whether he should be able to speak or not. Jesus.
Saying a campus should adhere to free speech is not being "on Milo's side".
Well the ACLU is on Milo's side. Pretty sure Maher supports the ACLU.

Why do we keep having the same contrary nonsense in these types of threads?
Let's make this simple.
When Trump and his bullshit administration deal with traditional Republican vs Democrat issues like health care, gun control, taxes, education, the military, and foreign policy, we can have debates. Those are real issues that can have either liberal or conservative solutions.
Trump wants a Muslim ban. Trump wants to actually build a wall between Mexico and the United States. Trump has numerous people in his administration that have a nazi-like agenda against people of color, and people who are not heterosexual. Trump put an absolutely unqualified and dangerous individual in charge of an organization that handles nuclear weapons. Trump put an absolutely unqualified individual in charge of the department that handles education. Trump wants to shut down communication between the white house, and the media.
These aren't things that can be debated. They are wrong. They go against human decency, they go against civil rights, they go against foreign etiquette, they go against educated sense.
It's that simple. It really is. That's why there's this violent dissent from the liberal left. There's no conversations that need to be had about banning an entire religion from this country. About ethnic cleansing. About homosexual curing. That isn't republican talking points.
That's being a nazi.
If only.
Jim Jefferies donkey-stomping Piers Morgan is very close to the best television possible.
Can someone post Piers's Twitter profile pic so we can stop taking his "devil's advocate" arguments serious? That pic tells you everything you need to know.
No, he does not.If his goal is to change minds, he does need to.
Piers Morgan is a liberal?
Well, if he's not a liberal, he sure does hold a lot of left leaning positions, even more so than many American "liberals". I hope you guys haven't berated other progressives and Sanders supporters in the past regarding "purity tests".And he ain't liberal.
You say "tone policing", I say "effective persuasive arguments".After electing Trump, what the world needs is definitely more tone policing.
Am I the only one who took notes in debate class? No, he does not.
Amen. It troubles me when people can't fucking understand this.
You say "tone policing", I say "effective persuasive arguments".
You're the only one who doesn't know what a debate is.Am I the only one who took notes in debate class?

And I'm the one who was told to google Piers to see who he is? lol.

Perhaps it's changed. You're the only one who doesn't know what a debate is.
You say effective persuasive arguments?
Yooou?
If you are trying to be an example of the success of the persuasive Modest Liberal, friend, it ain't working.
