That all sounds good but it's the plot that will make or break this game. ME2 was just a stupid story that fumbled almost every single ball whilst taking a giant shit on the first game. Mechanically everything was an improvement, it was just hard to give a shit when the story felt like it had been written on a post-it note.

You have to go through the Omega 4 Relay as soon as your crew gets abducted. If you wait and do missions, they die.

I could be completely wrong, but I read once that if you rush to do the mission to save your crew members the very second you find out they've been taken, without doing anything else, they'll all be saved. Otherwise, at least some will die.

instantly go for the suicide mission after your crew got abducted. It's one of those rare occasions in RPGs when "we need to hurry" actually means "we need to hurry". I spend so much time finishing side quests and loyalty missions that only Chawkwas was left when I arrived.... ....and Zaeed died during escorting her back to the ship....

It's what happen if you choose to wait as opposed to go directly to the collector base. If you wait she dies, if you go directly to the base some lady from Horizon dies instead

In my 2nd playthrough with a rene Femshep, I let him lead the first fire squad while Tali navigated the vents and hacked the door (I gave Leigon to Cerberus as I was a bigger cheerleader than Miranda on that playthough).

He did just fine; he had the galaxy's best under his command (sans Grunt which I left in his tube back on the Normandy)

Well... if I knew that it was going to be deep and complex, which it probably won't be. It's a very interesting idea, though, and something that's going to come up more and more as AI advances.

The Joker EDI romance thing is just them flirting since "she's" the only other personality he interacts with...guy needs to get out more. They did allude a friendship between him and Dr. Chakwas however because of his constant need for treatments...maybe Shep can spend a couple dozen resources on having some Lazarus tech patched into his bones.
