Speaking of Rancid, this game needs to have a killer soundtrack.

I'd be okay with modern music in it, as long as it keeps with the pop-punk, indie rock theme, and they keep some of the more popular songs from the old games in it.

The game definitely needs a killer soundtrack, with some awesome punk (I'm ok with some hip-hop too, as that's been there since TH2).

Otherwise, fuck yes, I hope they do the series justice with this. New-gen needs some skateboarding. Also, since Skate is MIA, perhaps they can safely ape some of its more progressive mechanics, and more realistic style.

Make it more like Tony Hawk 1-4 and less Project 8 / RIDE and I'll be there day one.

Hell yeah, I miss those games. Just make one with bigger levels/more goals, and a larger variety of levels.

Since it's Activision and they'd be looking to annualize the franchise anyway I wouldn't mind if they had alternating styles of Tony Hawk games - one that's crazy and one that's a little more realistic.

I wouldn't mind that. The games are simple enough that with two alternating teams ala CoD, it wouldn't hurt the quality of the games.

You are my new favourite GAF member. This is my favourite song of the past 10 years. I would buy any game that has it. Also, as I mentioned before, this game needs some of the new Lagwagon songs as well since their new album is fucking phenomenal. Not enough games have killer punk/metal soundtracks anymore.

Agreed man, awesome song. My brother and I have actually been learning and jamming it for a while now too. The last two Propagandhi albums have been amazing, I'm just super bummed out they haven't come back to Vancouver in years.

But yeah, high five for fellow Propagandhi fans! It would be awesome if this new Tony Hawk helped bring some punk back into the spotlight.
