For Half-Life 2, IAWTP. I don't know what the requirements for Sims 2 are, but they'd have to be pretty steep for the game not to place in the top ten, given how popular the series has become.

Madden 2005 would have been my #2 guess until the announcement was made that the ESPN games will be $19.99 each. I think that will eat into Madden's sales. Call of Duty could do numbers similar to MOH Frontline, provided it doesn't suck, like MOH Rising Sun did.

you could also throw doom 3 in there, maybe far cry... maybe fable... maybe forza...

... and that's just Xbox with all these good games... why would you believe MK 5 or TH6 will be showing up on the top 10?

Yeah, I thought about that for all the games I have ahead of it. Those games I thought would get a bigger boost than Halo 2 in Europe (GTA:SA), Japan(PokeR/G) or both(MGS3, NFSU2, GT4).

MK: DA has sold a lot, but even the PS2 version wasn't that high in the charts when it came out. If this was over a longer period, it'd probably make my list. THUG didn't sell as well as previous TH's but it still was in the PS2 top 5 last year. NBA Live seems to be getting ignored too for some reason. It isn't Madden, but it soaks up most of it's sales in Nov./Dec. and is a lock to go over 1 mil. I didn't put call of duty in either because I think Kill Zone is going to not only bring in the SOCOM players, but the MoH players as well.
