Looks more similar to UK charts than France or any other region we ever get from Europe, 2 PSP titles...Zero DS titles. Yet we constantly see 2-3 DS titles in the top 10 in France, are sales so miniscule there that it doesnt even affect the big picture in Europe?

Absolutely. As always it's knee-jerk reaction from denizens of the country that made 'Deer Hunter' one of the best selling game franchises of all time, who don't understand the implications of not breaking out sales of a given game by format.
