It took me a while to get the thunderbirds thing

Have I missed an obvious joke then too?
The sequence began with May saying the producers had told them to build a Thunderbirds-style rescue facility... there were many references to the show, the nasty retro decor, the alert poster on the wall, the swimming pool, the leaning palm trees...and the three of them being 'deployed' in various ways. May was simply moving like the characters used to move - they were marionettes.

Ah, I was thinking something Argentina related again. I got that it was a reference to Thunderbirds.

I was happy to see the James like AMG GTS. I'm not much of a Merc guy, didn't like the SLS at all, but this car ticks every single box. Luxurious, fast, quick, refined, elegant, exotic, beautiful, dignified, great noise, it does it all.

That new merc looks like a viper

Or the Ferrari FF

Well yeah, The people I watched this episode with had that scene completely fly over their heads and wondered why he walked like that. They thought it was because he was so cramped in the back of the hearse.

I was going to say original Thunderbirds was only revived recently, but then I remembered the early 90s are 25 years ago :(

WTF at Ferrari with that (you loan them a car and you no longer get to buy a LTD car from us) stipulation, i was thinking McLaren was taking the piss BUT the Ferrari one is just insane.

It's been great series so far.

I accept it for what it is, and the silliness of that last 25 minutes had me in tears.

I LIKED the silliness of the Peugeot skit.

This series has been particularly well-balanced so far- we've had the more serious, factual side of things such as last week, we've had challenges like the St. Petersburg race, Australia and Canada next week, and we've had balls-out comedy like the ambulance episode and the Peugeot film. They've struggled with that balance in recent years, and it's nice to see that they've got a better hold on it this series.

That Corvette was surprisingly quite impressive.

Agreed.

I've throughly enjoyed this series so far, it's just a shame it ends next week. :(

Scumbag Ferrari.

I see people on the FB page hating the Peugeot segment.
I liked it. Think it was one of the better Top Gear comedy moments.

I completely tuned out during the Peugeot segment... At some point I realized I hadn't paid attention to the tv for like 5 minutes.

Everything past the Ferrari bit was terrible.

Good episode, not the best but good.

I didn't like the siarpc but the peugeot segment was very funny (and stupid).

I'm pretty sure that Nick Mason would provide a LaFerrari asap. :D

Props to Bin Laden for offering up his cars, doesn't look like we're going to get the battle though.

I enjoyed the last part, Maniac! The double roundabout too. The Hammond tail joke that no one laughed at was pretty amusing.

Porsche is cool as always.

Not sure what McLaren's problem is, are they only going to approve tracks where the P1 has the best chance of winning even if it's not the best car?

And Ferrari are just being plain old stupid whiny bitches. Not letting anyone who lends Top Gear a car ever buy a limited edition Ferrari ever again is as childish as you can get.

Also, love the new Corvette, I would buy it over a lot of Euro and Japanese sports cars with similar specs.

And I too hated the last segment, just seems like they needed a filler because they ran out of ideas.

Loved this episode. Corvette and Cayman GTS were the top two contenders for my next car before the Cayman GT4 was revealed.

Also, Ferrari and McLaren are acting like little bitches with their supercars. Reminds me of that Ferrari fiasco with Chris Harris.

Porsche is the only confident one among the 3.

Congrats to Olly Murs on that properly fast lap time. Track conditions looked perfect for that run.
