Couldn't find any main Total Recall thread, but I was just at rotten tomatoes and noticed that this is due out on the 6th of july, kinda instantly put down by the lack of reviews so close to release.
Does anybody know when the premier is, and if there is an embargo date for reviews.
Not unless the producers go into the Total Rekall machine & set it to a make believe world where this will do any money.
Today, Studio Canal has released the below trailer to promote the release which, in the UK, will get a brief returns to cinemas.
I.....don't have a problem with this.Dan said:One thing I can't stand is that Kate Beckinsale looks sexy and sultry at every single fucking moment. Like, she only has one look, whether she's in bed or getting ready for battle. It's ridiculous.
"I give good wife"
Ooof.
having seen the trailer this move has, on the surface, everything i want in a sci fi movie, yet i watch the trailer and i feel nothing
very strange
Can't believe the budget of this movie is $200M. Doesn't look like it's going to make it back.
the Blu-ray will have a director’s cut that includes 17 minutes of additional footage. Per Wiseman, the director’s cut spends more time on “the fantasy vs. reality and the kind of chess game that is played.”
Wiseman says the Theatrical cut isn't his true Director's Cut

Theatrical is around 118 minutes, so the DC would be about 135 minutes
Any advance buzz on this? Positive or negative? Anyone heard anything?
It is directed by Len Wiseman.

Don't forget that it's scripted by Kurt Wimmer, as well!

That's B-movie heaven. All we need is for PWSA to be the assistant director.Don't forget that it's scripted by Kurt Wimmer, as well!
I would kill for a movie adaptation of that series! Loved it.This looks bad. There are so many other untouched science fiction novels to adapt. Altered Carbon?
Heard from one person it was super dull and another liked it on a very basic level, but thinks it will get trashed by critics. Suffice to say, I'm skipping my screening on Wed. because I just can't waste any of my life watching something Len Wiseman and Kurt Wimmer created.
If you have a free screening, I say watch it for them:

Also, so that you can tell me if it's worth watching.
The trailer tells you all you need to know.

Sony's been either holding off on press screenings or embargoing reviews until the last minute. Regardless, that's rarely a good sign.
Seriously. WB did the same for TDKR.
